"What??" Everyone in the room was shocked.
The sheer abruptness of that statement by the blue raven felt like being pushed off a cliff without warning.
Aurelius stood up from his seat and spoke in a high tone. "Do you have any idea of what you are suggesting??"
His voice rose; he was no longer responding as an emperor but as a man losing control over unfolding events.
"Sure, I have more than enough ideas," Blue Raven said while rolling his eyes to the side.
His casual dismissal only widened the gap between him and the rest of the room. Where others saw risk, he saw inevitability.
"I advise you to get moving if you don't want to get taken out later; the element of surprise is the biggest weapon we can use. We must reach there before your brother informs the cult about our attack." Blue Raven said before walking towards the door.
His reasoning was tactically correct, yet it sounded impractical to Aurelius.
