Chapter 531 - Chapter 531: Dragon Graveyard

Raizel also raised two fingers.

"And that's not even counting the two rooms at my place you've filled up."

Erza irritably swatted away the hands the two of them were waving in front of her vision.

"I know! I know!"

Then she lowered her head slightly and muttered quietly,

"I like collecting them. What am I supposed to do?"

Raizel helplessly shook his head.

"If there's something suitable and you want to bring it back, then bring it back. As for where to put it, we'll think about that later."

...

The group stood directly on Raizel's magic circle, transformed into red light, and arrived at the venue of the Grand Magic Games, at the foot of Domus Flau.

As for whether or not they should inform King Toma, Raizel thought about it and decided not to.

After taking what they needed, informing Arcadios would be enough.

This place was only an ancient battlefield. The dragon bones did not belong to Toma, and it was not as if he had any use for them anyway.

Led by Selene, the group arrived in front of a rock wall.

Raizel put on a show of knocking against the wall, sensing the Magic Particles scattered through the air.

"We can just teleport inside. It's hollow."

This time, Selene did not stand by and watch.

With a wave of her hand, a spatial passage immediately appeared. She stepped into it first with her long legs, while Ultear and Erza followed without the slightest hesitation.

Wind slipped into the cave through the cracks. No sunlight reached inside, and the only illumination came from the green Magic Crystals growing along the rock walls.

Combined with the dragon bones scattered around them, the smell was not exactly pleasant.

More importantly, because the dragons here had been slaughtered, they had undoubtedly carried hatred, regret, and countless other negative emotions before death. Innumerable dragon spirits had gathered their resentment in this place, giving it a rather eerie feeling.

Raizel's comment on this was,

"What a pity. We should've brought Kagura! Archenemy could probably absorb quite a bit of resentment here."

"No need."

Selene flipped her hand, and a gray bead appeared in her palm.

"This bead can fully absorb negative emotions. It is similar to Archenemy. For now, it can be called a Grudge Orb."

The name did not matter much to Selene. As long as they knew what it did, that was enough.

"Leave it to me."

Ultear took the Grudge Orb from Selene's hand.

The orb worked like a formaldehyde purifier, drawing in all the surrounding negative emotions.

And its speed was extremely fast. With the Grudge Orb as the center, a faint vortex of grudge power formed around it.

Ultear's magic crystal ball floated above their heads, glowing as it lit the path ahead. From time to time, water dripped from the stalactites overhead.

The group continued deeper along the path.

The narrow trail grew wider and wider.

Then, all at once, the view opened up.

Compared to the graveyard before them, which could almost be called a plaza, the scattered bones they had seen along the way were nothing more than a drop in the bucket.

As far as the eye could see, piles of scattered bones lay everywhere. The air was thick with the scent of death.

Only a few skeletons occupied separate areas, each still remarkably intact after four hundred years.

If this world had sufficient technology, these skeletons alone would be enough to reconstruct the overlords who had once ruled the eastern and western continents four hundred years ago and soared through the skies—dragons.

But now, at this moment, they had long since lost their lives, hearts, flesh, and blood.

Only their bones remained.

Selene looked at the bones around them.

"The ones that can still leave bones behind are either special dragon races or beings close to Dragon King level."

"Dragons can be called the most blessed race in Earth Land. Their enormous Magic Power, powerful bodies, and immortal bones after death all prove that."

"In other words, these are the best materials."

"There's no need to look at anything else. Take these few with us."

"..."

Ultear and Erza were both shocked by Selene.

How could she start evaluating them so casually?!

Selene suddenly felt that Ultear and Erza's expressions looked a little strange.

"What is it? They are already dead anyway. This is called making full use of what remains."

Although Erza often collected all sorts of skeletons, those were things like magical crocodile bones.

But Selene was a dragon herself, and yet when she looked at so many dragon bones, she showed no sadness at all.

She even told them to make full use of them!

One could only say that Selene was becoming more and more like a human.

And the merchant-like kind at that.

All they could do was silently admit: impressive.

Raizel chuckled and said, "Don't feel burdened. The dragons here were most likely the kind that disliked humans."

Erza asked with slight confusion, "Why?"

Raizel continued explaining.

"Back then, dragons were divided into the coexistence faction and the non-human-friendly faction. Most of the coexistence faction was in Ishgar, while the western dragons could basically all be counted as non-human-friendly without exception."

"As for the strength of both sides, saying they were evenly matched would be wrong. It was completely one-sided. The non-human-friendly faction far outnumbered the coexistence faction."

"And this place is located on the border between the eastern and western continents. These dragons were most likely western dragons who flew here to fight Acnologia and died in battle."

"So don't feel burdened."

Selene looked at Raizel teasingly, the corner of her mouth curling into a smile.

"You understand quite a lot."

Raizel laughed awkwardly.

"Only a little. Only a little."

Selene did not mind, she even testified for Raizel.

"What he said is basically correct."

Since even Selene had said so, Ultear stopped being overly particular. She stored all the intact skeletons into her magic space.

Then, following the same method, they went to the other three locations and swept through all the usable bones.

In addition, they also obtained a Grudge Orb filled with dense resentment and surging grudge power.

The battlefield in Crocus was the largest.

The other three were smaller, and among them, only one had a relatively complete skeleton.

This trip could be considered a full harvest.

Of course, how exactly the armor would be forged had not yet been decided.

It could be said that the armor had only completed its first step—creating a new folder.

After obtaining the Grudge Orb, Kagura directly unsealed Archenemy, placed the orb on top of it, and watched as it absorbed the negative emotions.

Meanwhile, Mira, Lucy, Wendy, and the others surrounded the dragon skeletons and marveled over them.

Touching the dragon bones, Mira said with some regret,

"It's just a pity that these can't be fused into Satan Soul or the Etherious forms."

These were only bones.

Moreover, they belonged to dragons, so she could not use Take Over on them.

Regarding this, Selene said,

"Although you do not have a Requip space, forging a weapon should still be possible, right? Kagura carries both a katana and a sword at her waist. Or you could look for some kind of portable spatial item to store weapons."

It had to be said, Selene's mind worked quite well.

"Cana's sealing cards!"

Mira immediately thought of Cana.

Then came preparation for the second step—armor design.

Seeing Erza, Mira, Lucy, Wendy, and the others all提出 many opinions about the armor, Ultear made a suggestion.

And then...

The first Fairy Tail Armor Design Contest officially began!
