Chapter 137 - Plan (137)

While the crew was out here doing their shit, Kairo went inside for some training. Going into the training room, he noticed the weights around, alongside other equipment that could be used to practice swordsmanship and even kicking.

There was even a section for guns and brawlers, so basically it had everything a training area could possibly need.

He sat cross-legged and began meditating. He remembered his past, remembered all the actions he had taken so far. He did not wish to stagnate any longer—he had to get better.

And thus, he began meditating, trying to clear his mind, becoming at peace with the world around him.

Mastering his control over his Conqueror's Haki even more.

"Okay, let's see. If I increase the output in order to hit someone, my output for defense would be lower," he thought deeply about this.

Conqueror's Haki worked like that too, though he wanted it for something else.

He frowned slightly. Usually, the way he fought was by perfectly splitting his Conqueror's Haki 50/50 between attack and defense. It was a decent way to fight.

But when Kairo took over, when he attacked, he used 70% for offense and 30% for defense. David was so near-sighted about not getting damaged that he forgot the simple fact that he was a fucking Lunarian.

Fifty percent focused on defense was overkill—anything short of an admiral-level fighter could not damage him that much.

For fuck's sake, he tanked full-power Ryō punches from Kuzan for six fucking days back to back, and while yes, that shit did damage him, it wasn't massive.

Most of it was negated by his insane durability.

He should forget about focusing on durability when his flames were on.

That would be a different subject entirely with the flames off. With that shit off, he took a shit-ton more damage.

He closed his eyes again. He needed a way to take less damage.

He already had a coating of Conqueror's Haki running across his body at all times. He needed something else.

He opened his eyes and exhaled deeply, getting into position and beginning to do push-ups, all while having seals active to make his body much heavier.

He multitasked—doing one push-up, standing up to do a burpee, going back to the floor for another push-up, then back up for another burpee.

His wings spread behind him as he thought deeply about everything: the power system of this world, and how he was managing to say a big fuck you to it.

"Everything in this world has Haki, whether living or not—they possess it," he paused.

It could be dormant in some people, but it was still there. While yes, a plant couldn't pull out a Conqueror's Haki blast, it still had Haki. It was dormant in about 99.9% of the population.

And his use of jutsu proved that. If everything didn't have Haki, his water, earth, wind, and fire-type jutsu would be vastly different—or in some cases, not exist at all.

"I need to learn Fish-Man Karate and the Mink fighting style," he paused. If he had those two skills, he'd do great.

Maybe get Dragon Claw from Sabo and learn how to target weak points from Dragon himself.

Thinking about it more deeply, meeting with the Revolutionary Army could help him reach his goals. They had someone who knew Fish-Man Karate. He could share all the data he'd collected with Dragon so the man could have more dirt on the Celestial Dragons.

And teach his troops how to bypass the immortality nonsense that the Holy Knights possessed.

That would be the best-case scenario.

"It's so annoying I didn't get to mark Ace." He was annoyed at himself, being so shortsighted that he hadn't placed a seal on Ace. He would save Ace—the boy didn't need to die yet. He'd be more useful alive than dead.

He began sketching a plan in his mind.

If he remembered correctly, Ace would be located on Level 6 of Impel Down, the lowest and most secure level. That was where people like Doflamingo and Crocodile would go if they got caught.

It was called Eternal Hell.

His public execution wouldn't be due for another week at best. From what he got from the news and the small bits of information he'd gathered, Ace could be dead soon.

There was no talk of Marineford yet in the news, so he assumed Ace was still there.

He could handle Magellan just fine. His Devil Fruit was decent, but nothing Kairo really wanted or felt the need to get.

Though killing Magellan could help. Killing him and then replacing him with a reanimation should be easy enough.

As long as he didn't encounter Akainu—and as long as he could control his anger—he'd be fine.

His Haki began taking form around him. Using his Conqueror's Haki, a ribcage began forming around him.

"Tobirama would hate me for this."

"It... really went down," he paused, just from using an Uchiha-style skill.

He chuckled a bit. He didn't even think it could go down.

Might drop this on April fool.
