Chapter 91: 108. Golden Bell and Silver Hammer

"Tang Hao, you're nothing but an eight-ring Soul Douluo. Don't get arrogant! Let me, Silver Hammer, put you in your place!"

Silver Hammer Douluo leapt high from the cliff, descending into the valley with both arms wielding his twin hammers. "Today we'll see whose hammer reigns supreme—your Clear Sky Hammer or my Silver Hammer!"

Tang Hao roared back, "Good! Since you wish to die, I'll gladly oblige!"

Holding little Tang San to his chest with one arm, he raised the Clear Sky Hammer with the other and charged forward to meet his foe.

The two power-type soul masters clashed beneath the canyon walls, their hammers colliding again and again. The sound of metal upon metal rippled through the valley like thunder.

In mere moments, they had exchanged dozens of blows.

What puzzled Tang Hao was that, although his power clearly rivaled that of a Titled Douluo—his aura even suppressing Silver Hammer slightly—his opponent still felt… stronger than expected.

Against the sect's own Titled Douluo, he had always fought cautiously. Even when forced to "go all out" to protect Tang San and Ah Yin, he had restrained himself. Yet each time, just a few swings of his hammer had shattered their martial souls. But now, with Spirit Hall's Douluo, he struck with full power—and still couldn't gain the upper hand.

The difference was glaring. The Clear Sky Sect's hammers had felt like brittle tofu compared to the real, unyielding weight of Silver Hammer's attacks.

No, impossible, Tang Hao thought grimly. The Clear Sky Hammer is the greatest weapon-type martial soul in the world. No mere Silver Hammer could surpass it.

In the Divine Realm's Eternal Temple—

Huo Yuhao sat leisurely, watching the duel unfold in Sky Valley's canyon through his godly vision. He could see Tang Hao's thoughts as clearly as if they were written on parchment.

"In all fairness, Haozi," he said with a sympathetic smile, "I promised to look after you, but some things are beyond my meddling. Let's say—out of respect for Qian Renxue—I'll leave this one alone. Don't worry, our co-director up there won't let you die either. Isn't that right?"

Indeed, Tang Hao's disorienting sense that his hammer felt weaker was Huo Yuhao's doing.

Tang Hao's performance didn't impress him—but Spirit Hall wasn't happy either.

Down below, Qian Xunji frowned, watching the prolonged exchange between Tang Hao and Silver Hammer. "What is Silver Hammer doing? Tang Hao's just an eight-ring Soul Douluo who recently detonated his rings! Why hasn't he finished him yet?"

Turning to Golden Bell Douluo, Qian Xunji ordered, "Elder Golden Bell, assist him."

"As you command, Your Holiness." Golden Bell knelt briefly, then rose into the air as nine soul rings—yellow, yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black, black, black—circled him. His ninth ring flared brilliantly.

The final black ring expanded outward, rising into the air above the canyon.

"Ninth Soul Skill—Golden Bell Shield!"

A massive golden bell condensed from the energy above, glowing with divine radiance before plummeting toward the canyon.

Both Tang Hao and Silver Hammer stopped mid-fight, looking up as the enormous shimmering bell descended around them.

In an instant, they were sealed beneath its dome.

Within the bell, Tang Hao immediately felt the crushing weight of immense gravity bearing down on him, constraining his movements.

Silver Hammer glanced up, awe flickering in his eyes. "Golden Bell Douluo's ninth skill—within its range, he can alter gravity itself! Not quite a domain, yet nearly as powerful. What a marvelous technique!"

Then he turned back to Tang Hao with a grim smile. "Tang Hao, to hold me off this long with only eight rings—you've earned some respect. But trapped inside Elder Golden Bell's ninth soul skill, you're doomed. Together, we can rival a level ninety-six Titled Douluo!"

He lifted both hammers high, swinging them down at Tang Hao in a furious storm.

Under the bell's pressure, Silver Hammer's strength seemed to multiply, his strikes heavier and faster.

In the Divine Realm's Asura God Palace—

The Asura God scowled. "After all the power I've lent you, Tang Hao, and you still can't defeat two mere Titled Douluo? Useless fool."

Yet, since Tang Hao remained his chosen guardian for the Precious Child, the god could not abandon him. With a sigh, he infused another stream of divine energy into Tang Hao's domain, magnifying his killing aura once more.

Suddenly, Tang Hao's body stiffened—the surge of power too abrupt to process.

For an instant, he froze.

To a master-level fighter, even a heartbeat of hesitation spelled danger.

"Finally, a weakness!" Silver Hammer roared triumphantly, raising both hammers high and bringing them down toward Tang Hao's head. "Die!"

But before the blow could land, his hammers struck something unyielding—a blood-red Clear Sky Hammer ablaze with lightning.

Tang Hao's eyes glowed scarlet. With a flick of his wrist, power exploded outward. Silver Hammer felt an irresistible force surge through his arms, flinging him backward with bone-crushing strength.

He slammed into the far wall of the canyon.

As he staggered up, horror froze his face. His Silver Hammer martial soul now bore a visible crack across its surface.

"Impossible!" he gasped. "He barely touched me!"

He looked toward Tang Hao—only to see him standing eerily still, blood-red mist swirling from his body, relishing the moment. Red lightning coiled around his hammer like serpents.

"This power… the power… it's flowing through me!" Tang Hao muttered, intoxicated.

Silver Hammer could feel the pressure of the Killing God Domain growing exponentially, the atmosphere turning suffocating. His heart pounded.

"Damn it, how is this possible?" he thought wildly. "You only have eight rings—are you even human?!"

Every instinct screamed at him to flee. But the towering golden bell sealed every escape route. What had been their advantage now became his cage.

Tang Hao's crimson gaze locked onto him like prey. "Silver Hammer," he said coldly, "die."

On the cliff above, Qian Xunji frowned slightly. "Elder Golden Bell, without Silver Hammer inside, how long can your bell trap Tang Hao?"

Golden Bell stroked his beard with confidence. "My martial soul is one of the toughest defensive artifacts on the continent. Tang Hao's only an eight-ring Soul Douluo—and he recently detonated his rings. Under my bell, he can't possibly break free. He'll remain trapped as long as I wish."

He smiled faintly. "In fact, Elder Silver Hammer should be emerging soon—with Tang Hao's corpse in hand."

But the next instant, his expression changed drastically.

The massive golden bell suddenly began to swell, like a balloon filling with explosive air.

Golden Bell's blood ran cold. "Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"

Frantically, he channeled his soul power, pouring everything into suppressing it.
