Chapter 192: Arrival in Spirit City

"Brother Feng, it's been two months—your strength has advanced yet again!"

Qian Renxue greeted him warmly.

"The Spirit Hall Team has three Spirit Kings. The pressure's heavy—I've had no choice but to train nonstop."

Dugu Feng sighed lightly as he entered through the city gates.

"Brother Feng, you're too modest. I'm sure even the Golden Generation of Spirit Hall is no match for you.

My father is eagerly waiting for you to bring the championship home!"

Qian Renxue patted him encouragingly on the shoulder.

To this day, she was convinced that Gemstone Academy's hidden trump card was Dugu Feng himself.

Even Salas believed the same.

Despite all his efforts, the bishop had been unable to uncover Dugu Feng's true spirit rank or fourth spirit skill; helpless, he had reported to Bibi Dong in defeat.

"Brother Xue, rest assured—I'll do my best."

After exchanging polite words, Dugu Feng went to join Gemstone Academy's carriage convoy.

He found his seat in the second-to-last carriage.

"Greetings, Young Master!"

Inside were Old Snake, Shi Nian, and several students from Gemstone Academy—everyone except Ning Rongrong, who was traveling elsewhere.

Dugu Feng nodded and sat beside Old Snake.

"Young Master, new rumors have been sweeping Heaven Dou City. It's been confirmed—Tang San possesses twin spirits. His second one is the Clear Sky Hammer.

The news has caused an uproar, making the Clear Sky Sect the center of the spirit master world again.

Since then, Tang San has remained secluded within Blue Tyrant Academy, training nonstop."

Old Snake's voice was filled with excitement.

Dugu Feng's brows rose slightly. "Who leaked information about Tang San's twin spirits?"

"It must've been Yu Yuanzhen. Not long after he left Spirit City, this explosion of gossip spread like wildfire through Heaven Dou City.

Now Tang San's being hailed as a genius on par with you, Young Master.

But in my view, his spirit power rank is ten levels below yours. How can he even be compared?"

Old Snake spoke with open disdain.

Dugu Feng had almost forgotten about Yu Yuanzhen during his cultivation. Revealing Tang San's secret must have been the man's offering of loyalty—to curry favor with Spirit Hall.

A token of betrayal.

"You don't know, Young Master, Heaven Dou's been lively lately.

Shrek Academy announced their withdrawal from the Spirit City finals, sparking countless rumors.

They say the Clear Sky Sect fears their prodigy might be killed there!

Salas firmly refuted it, declaring that Spirit Hall's Golden Generation feared no one—and that Shrek withdrew only because they stood no chance of winning."

Old Snake chuckled.

Dugu Feng smirked inwardly. Indeed, Tang Hao was afraid.

Considering the current hostility between the Clear Sky Sect and Spirit Hall, if Tang San set foot in Spirit City, he'd never leave alive.

Tang Hao and Yu Yuanzhen had already fought twice—his wounds must have deepened.

Tang Xiao, no doubt, was stationed in Heaven Dou City by now.

Since leaving Sunset Forest, Dugu Feng had used his connection with Zhu Zhuqing's inner energy core to sense Shrek's condition.

Shrek's six members, Tang San included, were cultivating at Blue Tyrant Academy.

Being so near Heaven Dou, he could sense every ripple from the academy.

Flender had blamed their absence from the finals entirely on Spirit Hall's tyranny, fueling Tang San, Ma Hongjun, and Oscar to train frantically.

Dugu Feng also overheard Flender and Yu Xiaogang's new plan.

They wanted all six members of Shrek to reach Spirit Ancestor level before temporarily "graduating" from the academy.

Each would then travel the continent separately to train and mature—

And five years later, they'd reunite for the next tournament, determined to sweep away every opponent.

Flender's impassioned speech had fired their spirits.

The Golden Iron Triangle's years of shared struggle gave strength to their bond, while their growing fame pushed them to dream even bigger.

"Flender… quite the motivator," Dugu Feng mused aloud.

He knew the plan was meant for one person—Tang San.

When Tang San reached Spirit Ancestor level, Tang Hao would surely take him to train in the Clear Sky Sect's secret art.

That method—sealing one's spirit power to hammer under a waterfall—accelerated cultivation tremendously. Tang San had once risen from level forty-two to fifty in just a year.

Part of that was due to the latent medicinal power of his celestial herbs finally being released.

But still, the Clear Sky technique had merit.

Tang Hao, eager for his son's success, wouldn't let such an opportunity go to waste.

However, with Dugu Feng around, Tang San's path would not be smooth.

A cold glint flickered in his eyes. Tang San, just wait. I'll give you another "lesson" when the time is right.

He also wondered what promises Yu Yuanzhen had received from Bibi Dong during their meeting.

That would depend on Spirit Hall's next move.

Dugu Feng pondered quietly, then silently immersed himself in meditation.

The carriage grew quiet as all prepared for the battles to come.

Throughout the journey, the relationships among Godwind, Tianshui, Blazing Fire, and Gemstone Academies grew considerably closer.

Together, counting reserves, over forty spirit masters traveled as one group—cooperating in everything from camping to supply sharing.

It was harmonious unity.

The idea from the original story—that Blazing Fire and Godwind would merge into one team—didn't happen this time; Huo Wu hadn't even mentioned it.

Now that the four academies were working together, and Dugu Feng's overwhelming strength stood as their combined pillar, there was no reason to oppose each other.

Instead, they made a pact: should any of them face the Star Luo Empire's Royal Team—or Spirit Hall's team—they'd fight with full strength to wear the others down.

Just as Spirit City came into view, Ning Rongrong broke through to level forty-three, boosting morale across the ranks.

The excitement carried through as their convoy passed through Spirit City's outer gates.

Spirit City—a hexagonal bastion ringed by six colossal walls—was entirely ruled by Spirit Hall, independent of the two empires.

Even the patrols at the gates were all spirit masters.

Within the city lived only Spirit Hall members and their families.

Its sheer power was staggering, unmatched by either empire.

The number of spirit masters here alone was astounding.

The competing teams were housed near the Great Spirit Arena, in a grand hotel from which the Pope's Hill loomed visibly—its summit crowned by the Pope's Palace and, above it, the Douluo Hall.

It was this Douluo Hall that gave Spirit Hall its unshakable prestige—

The sacred resting place of all titled Douluo.

Here, only fallen titles were interred, honored forever by Spirit Hall's priests and followers.

For every spirit master across the continent, becoming a Titled Douluo and being buried in the Douluo Hall was the highest honor imaginable.

Thus, the Hall had become a sacred place in their hearts.

Spirit Hall, originally founded to guard and honor this holy site, had through this reverence grown into the most powerful spirit master organization on the continent.
