Chapter 147: An Explosive First Show
Outside the massive palace's barrier, the once-beautiful grassland had become a devastated battlefield—pitted with craters and deep gouges from powerful sword slashes.
Koda's enormous figure stood silently beside the pit Luo Han had created. His eyes, glowing red, darted wildly in all directions.
Behind him, Kama and the others felt something was off.
"Koda's aura is... weird. Kama, did Blue Demon do something to him?"
Kama thought for a moment, then shook his head. "I'm not sure. I only saw a flash of pink light—and then Blue Demon took off into the sky."
"Could it be because of that pink light?" another crewmate guessed.
"Maybe. Either way, Koda's current state is unstable. Everyone keep your distance," Kama warned.
Luo Han's dramatic escape into the sky gave him a bad feeling. That pink light definitely wasn't ordinary.
Golden Lion and the others were also puzzled. What had Luo Han done to Koda? His red eyes and frantic gaze sent chills down the spines of anyone he locked onto.
Only Big Mom was filled with anger—because the moment Koda's gaze landed on her, he rushed straight at her.
"Huh? What the hell is this bastard doing?!"
Big Mom was furious. Of all the people Koda could charge at, he picked me?! Did he think she was the weakest here?
Koda didn't say a word. He panted heavily, his glowing red eyes focused solely on Big Mom's curvaceous figure. Nothing else existed to him.
"This bastard!!"
Fueled by rage, Big Mom raised her fist, infused it with Armament Haki, and roared as she punched forward.
But Koda's reaction stunned everyone.
"What kind of move is that...?!" Golden Lion twitched at the sight, face frozen in disbelief.
Koda ignored Big Mom's punch entirely. He leapt up, arms and legs spread wide, head lunging forward—lips pursed like he was aiming to kiss her.
It was a shameless, unheard-of technique: the "face-first-punch-catch." And its effect was immediate.
BOOM! Big Mom's Haki-infused punch landed square on Koda's face. His lips deformed under the impact—but somehow still reached forward.
"You bastard!! What the hell are you doing?!" Big Mom screamed. Her Conqueror's Haki exploded, sending a wave of pressure in all directions.
"She's gonna blow!!" Everyone nearby covered their ears, completely shell-shocked.
What they had just witnessed was too much. This was Big Mom—the monster, the legend—and now… it looked like she was being… violated by a maniacal gorilla?!
Thud! With arms and legs longer than hers, Koda latched onto Big Mom the moment his face connected with her fist. Using the momentum, he dragged them both into the dirt.
Big Mom's fists loosened in shock. She pushed against Koda's chest, trying to get free. But Koda clung to her like a vice, ignoring her lightning and flame attacks. He just kept grinding against her—his massive rear clanging like steel with every movement.
Everyone who saw this scene was frozen.
"He's using Haki too?! That's insane!!" Ochoku (Wang Zhi)flushed red, muttering how terrifying it was—but his eyes sparkled with envy.
Kama and his companions had their jaws on the ground.
One crewmate dared to ask, "Kama… should we stop him?"
He got no answer. When he turned to look, Kama and the others were watching, eyes gleaming with admiration. He turned back quietly.
No one moved. Everyone just watched.
Even Whitebeard and Ecks stopped fighting, captivated by the madness. A once-in-a-lifetime scene—they couldn't miss it.
The only one still moving was Cole.
He was, after all, the true professional—calm and focused no matter what chaos erupted. Luo Han's instructions came first.
"This is… a bit too effective." High in the air, Luo Han was stunned.
Koda was an Admiral-level powerhouse. Even if he lacked Conqueror's Haki, his willpower was immense. But the Pink Flame still turned him into a beast.
And Big Mom? She was absolutely livid.
From the moment Koda began grinding, she knew what he was trying to do. She released her Haki, screamed, attacked—but it didn't matter.
Desperate, Big Mom locked her legs around Koda's inner thighs to block the "mystery contact."
That explained the clang clang of steel echoing through the battlefield.
"You bastard! You bastard!!" she roared like a trapped girl, trying everything to break free—but Koda wouldn't budge.
This insane clash would likely end with one side submitting—but who knew when that would be? Both were absolute monsters.
Eventually, Big Mom managed to glance upward—and spotted the culprit floating in the sky.
She immediately shouted, "Luo Han! Get this bastard off me, and I'll owe you big time!"
Everyone turned their eyes skyward.
Oh shit.
They finally realized: this was Luo Han's doing.
Dozens of top-tier fighters glared at him. Even Luo Han broke into a cold sweat.
Damn... this wasn't supposed to happen! He had planned for Koda to lose control and chase after someone else—not latch onto Big Mom!
And now, Big Mom couldn't even break free. She had no choice but to beg him for help.
Luo Han's expression turned serious. "Big Mom, remember—you owe me now!"
"Hurry up, dammit! I know!!" she shouted, turning her head to dodge Koda's massive lips while bracing against his embrace with her legs.
Ugh… Luo Han winced. That's nightmare fuel.
Whoosh! He dropped from the sky.
But something was wrong.
Everyone else had retreated… at least 500 meters away.
"What the…?" Luo Han looked at Whitebeard.
Whitebeard jumped back another 500 meters. "Don't come near us! Talk from there!"
"I—dammit!"
No one wanted to be anywhere near him.
Ignoring their reactions, Luo Han walked cautiously behind Koda. After some thought, he shifted to the side and tapped Koda's arm, just in case the beast lunged.
Thankfully, Koda was too far gone—repeating the same motion, completely unaware of Luo Han's presence.
In seconds, Luo Han retrieved the Pink Flame from Koda's body. It was smaller and dimmer now. Even if he hadn't removed it, it would've burned out in ten minutes.
Immediately, Luo Han launched himself back into the sky—he had no desire to face Koda's wrath when he snapped out of it.
