"That's mine! Don't steal it!"
"Can you even eat that many by yourself? Give me a few!"
"I'm not giving you any... Hiss, these are way too good! Get lost! They're all mine!"
"So this is what dumplings are! This is a paradise of delicious food! Waaa~"
Bang!
Crash! Clatter!
A group of dwarves fought over the dumplings on the table. They knocked over plates and nearly flipped the table over.
Seeing the chaotic scene, the dwarven chief immediately felt embarrassed. He slammed the table angrily and shouted, "Enough! Do any of you have any manners at all? Haven't I taught you how to behave at the table? Look at this mess!"
Smack!
The dwarven chief slapped the table hard.
All the dwarves immediately stopped fighting over the food and obediently returned to their seats.
Only then did the chief smile at Ethan.
"Lord Ethan, I'm terribly sorry! My clansmen haven't seen many good things in their lives, so they got a little carried away. Please don't take offense."
"It's fine. Don't worry about it."
Ethan waved his hand to show he didn't mind.
But the next second, the dwarven chief's actions left him stunned.
The chief stood up after finishing his lecture, walked over to the tables where his clansmen were sitting, and casually waved his hand.
The plates of dumplings in front of them disappeared one after another as he stored them in his storage ring.
In the end, only one plate of dumplings remained across all five tables, with about twenty dumplings left.
Only then did he stop.
"It seems you were fighting because there weren't enough to go around. I'll keep the rest for now. There's one dumpling each left, so there's no need to fight anymore."
"..."
The dwarves were practically in tears.
But since it was the chief's order, none of them dared disobey.
"Chief, there's really no need for that. I honestly have plenty more," Ethan smiled as he pushed the Cockroach Immortal skewers toward the dwarven chief, "And there are these meat skewers too. I seasoned them with soy fruit juice and lava peppers. They should taste pretty good."
"What?", The dwarven chief was shocked, "You used lava peppers and soy fruit as seasoning? That's something only the nobles in the cities get to enjoy!"
Without another word, the dwarven chief picked up a Cockroach Immortal skewer and began eating it with loud chomp chomp sounds.
As he ate, tears streamed down his face.
"I... I'm so touched!"
"I actually..."
"I actually get to eat such incredible food one day, and this explosively spicy flavor too."
"So this..."
"Is this what it feels like for your heart to race?"
"Uh..."
Looking at the dwarven chief, Ethan quietly pushed all the Cockroach Immortal skewers in front of him over to the chief.
"If you like them, have as many as you want. However many you want to eat, I'll grill that many for you."
After all, Cockroach Immortals looked too disgusting.
Who the hell wanted to eat cockroaches?
Especially cockroaches with human hands.
But when the dwarven chief heard that, his eyes became wide.
"I... I can eat as many as I want?"
"Of course," Ethan had collected thousands upon thousands of Cockroach Immortal limbs from the cockroach nest and had been wondering how to use them up. This was the perfect opportunity, "Aren't you going to build a town for me afterward? If your people like them, these can be part of your meals from now on."
"My Lord, you're such a good person!", The dwarven chief dropped to his knees and hugged Ethan's leg, "From now on, you're my new boss! We'll build your town without taking a single coin, as long as you keep providing us with this food! Even if there are no dumplings, that's fine. As long as we have these meat skewers, we'll be satisfied!"
"Deal!"
Ethan was delighted that he could use up those horrifying Cockroach Immortal corpses and save on wages at the same time.
Mr. White, however, looked worried, "Lord Ethan, are you really planning to build a town? It won't be that easy. Setting aside the issue of land area, a town also needs a considerable population. From what I can see, your estate doesn't seem to have enough people."
"Don't worry. It'll grow very soon."
Ethan declared confidently.
