As we waited for our food to arrive we talked about nothing of importance, just idle chatter to pass the time.
When the food arrived it came with a sumptuous aroma that made my stomach growl.
The food was quite an assortment, consisting of things that I had never seen before. The only things I could recognize at a glance were the dumplings, buns, and the fried rice.
Everything else I didn't recognize, like the dish that was a crispy red square that sat on top of some kind of meat. It looked good but I had no idea what it was.
It turned out that I'm just stupid. Or rather I just haven't seen the world. Because I knew what everything was I just didn't correlate it to these presentations.
The crispy red square, yeah, that was just pork belly.
Then you had a stuffed croquette, dim sum, orange chicken, and for dessert we had custard. Everything was very good, a ten out of ten. Which is the second time I have given that illustrious score. Granny holds the first one.
