📜 Chapter — Shadow of Ancient Magic
The crown prince of the human empire stared at the place where that strange sound had come from.
He hovered in the sky, wondering: Did they escape that quickly? How?
He thought for a moment… then made his decision.
He slowly closed his eyes, then opened them—
a strange circle forming within his pupils, allowing him to see what had happened before his arrival.
When he used it… he was surprised.
He saw a strange being—
with dozens of eyes and dozens of wings—
standing before a grotesque corpse.
The crown prince looked toward the fog surrounding the former imperial capital and sighed:
"I won't be able to go in there and see this myself…"
Then he looked in another direction and smiled:
"I should find this first."
The moment he said that, he pulled a short dagger from his storage tool and laughed coldly:
"Let's see where you're hiding now."
He slashed the air with the dagger—
and a gate opened, leading him directly to the corpse he had seen.
He smiled.
"Ancient magic… truly terrifying and fascinating at the same time. And I made this tool in so little time."
He chuckled softly, then stepped into the portal…
📜 Scene — Inside the Cave
Inside a strange cave…
The corpse sat upon a throne made of bones.
Before it, vampires and werewolves knelt in complete submission.
The corpse was furious about what had happened to it.
It had fled only to avoid death—fearing the dragons might arrive.
It knew the Dragon King was already aware of its existence…
yet did nothing.
Because it also knew—
the Dragon King liked to play with his prey first.
Let them believe in victory…
then crush them effortlessly.
So the corpse used that time…
to build its power in secret.
But now…
it was close to being exposed—because of that annoying crow.
It swore to itself:
it would find that crow…
and turn it into a cloak to wear—
a warning to all who oppose it.
But before it could continue—
A voice echoed behind it, laughing:
"Oh… looks like we have quite the bully here."
The corpse instantly vanished from its place and turned toward the voice.
But before it could see who spoke—
it felt something above it.
It looked up—
A strange magic circle.
One it hadn't seen in ages…
Fear crept into its voice:
"Ancient magic…? How is this possible? It was erased long ago!"
A laugh came from behind it.
It turned slowly—
to see a human man wearing a strange robe.
The corpse stared at him in shock:
"You… you're from the human imperial family!"
Before it could continue speaking,
the man raised his head and said calmly:
"You won't distract me."
He raised his hand—
revealing a strange scroll made of demon skin… and a mysterious cube.
The moment the corpse saw them,
the magic circle intensified.
It didn't bother hiding anymore—
it knew escape was impossible now.
The crown prince saw its determination to escape and calmly tore the scroll—
A sealing barrier formed instantly…
one that could hide everything—even from the Dragon King.
Then he threw the cube before the corpse
and began chanting words in an ancient language…
The corpse roared in fury:
"You fool! Do you think you can seal me?! I am the Ruler of Death! Nothing can imprison me!"
But the crown prince ignored it…
and continued.
Fear finally appeared on the corpse's face.
It turned to its kneeling followers and shouted:
"What are you doing?! Break my restraints, you idiots!"
But the vampires and werewolves…
did not move.
Realizing this, it looked back at the man in terror:
"You… you did all of this in such a short time without me noticing… Who are you?!"
No answer.
The crown prince spoke the final words of his spell…
and waved his hand.
The cube opened—
and swallowed the corpse whole.
As it was pulled inside, it screamed:
"This won't stop me! I'll break free soon, you fool! And when I do… I'll destroy you!"
The crown prince didn't care.
He simply looked ahead… and laughed:
"Are you going to keep hiding and watching me… or what?"
📜 Scene — The Crow Appears
The moment he said that—
The air… shattered.
The barrier itself distorted—then reformed.
And before him…
appeared the crow.
The same one he had seen before.
The crown prince raised an eyebrow, surprised:
"Oh… it seems I have the honor of speaking with you, don't I?"
The crow said nothing.
It simply looked at the cube in his hand.
The crown prince laughed softly:
"You want this cube?"
The crow finally spoke—calmly:
"Give it to me…"
"And I will rid humanity… of this fog."
