Chapter 82 - Chapter 82 — The Weight of Resistance

The Primordials vanished.

But their words remained.

Like scars carved directly into existence itself.

The outer sea felt colder now.

Heavier.

Because every being present understood the truth.

The real enemy had never been the monarchs.

Nor the Eldritch Gods.

Not even the Primordials themselves.

Everything—

Every universe.

Every war.

Every civilization.

Had existed beneath the shadow of the Sovereigns.

Silence Across the Battlefield

No one spoke immediately after the Primordials disappeared.

The five Legends remained frozen.

The Seraphim stood silently.

Even the endless Abyss Army had stopped moving.

Because the scale of reality itself had changed again.

The Blade Legend finally broke the silence.

"…So we're basically fighting gods above gods now."

One Angel of Creation answered quietly:

"No."

Its radiant wings dimmed slightly.

"We are resisting the system that created gods."

The statement alone sent chills through the Legends.

Because suddenly—

The monarch wars felt small.

Antares felt distant.

Humanity had climbed far beyond its original nightmare.

And now stood before the structure controlling existence itself.

Jinyoung's Burden

Jinyoung stared into the endless outer sea quietly.

The Abyss behind him moved slowly like an infinite ocean beneath reality.

Inside him—

Yogaroth's fragment resonated constantly now.

Not speaking.

Watching.

Waiting.

The Primordials' revelation replayed inside his mind repeatedly.

A replacement for Yogaroth.

A future Sovereign candidate.

But he already knew his answer.

No.

Because if becoming a Sovereign meant accepting the harvest of infinite lives—

Then he would oppose them instead.

Even if it meant fighting existence itself.

One Angel descended beside him slowly.

"You understand what happens now?"

Jinyoung answered calmly.

"They'll eventually come for Earth directly."

The Angel nodded.

"And for you."

The Damage Left Behind

Secretary activated countless rune formations across the battlefield.

Massive holographic readings appeared instantly.

The Rune Architect's expression darkened slightly.

"The outer sea suffered structural destabilization."

The Storm Legend frowned.

"Meaning?"

Secretary enlarged the projections.

Fractures spread endlessly between universes now.

Some realities were drifting apart completely.

Others had already begun collapsing into the void.

"The Sovereign's gaze weakened dimensional stability."

Silence spread again.

Just one look.

One partial observation.

And infinite universes suffered damage.

The Iron Legend muttered quietly:

"…That's ridiculous."

No one disagreed.

Humanity's Next Step

The Seraphim gathered together.

Golden authority illuminated the outer sea while they discussed rapidly through creation resonance.

Then one Angel turned toward Jinyoung.

"Earth must evolve faster."

Another continued:

"The five Legends are progressing properly."

A third added:

"But humanity overall remains too weak."

The Flame Legend immediately frowned.

"We're literally stronger than monarchs now."

The Angel looked toward him calmly.

"Lower monarchs."

Silence.

The Angel continued:

"Against true Primordial wars…"

Its wings spread slowly.

"…humanity still stands at the beginning."

The statement stung.

Because it was true.

Even after evolving beyond National Rank—

Humanity remained insignificant before the forces now awakening.

The New Objective

Jinyoung finally turned back toward the others.

"Then we accelerate humanity's evolution."

The Void Legend narrowed his eyes.

"How?"

Jinyoung looked toward the infinite universes surrounding them.

Then answered:

"By uniting Yogaroth's surviving creations."

The Seraphim reacted immediately.

One Angel spoke carefully:

"You intend to gather civilizations from other universes?"

Jinyoung nodded.

"If the Sovereigns harvest isolated worlds…"

The Abyss deepened behind him.

"…then we stop being isolated."

The outer sea trembled slightly.

Because the idea itself was insane.

Not protecting one universe.

Not one race.

But building an alliance across infinite realities.

Even the Seraphim looked surprised.

The Beginning of the Alliance

Secretary immediately began calculating possibilities.

Thousands of runes spun around him rapidly.

"Feasible."

The others looked toward him.

Secretary continued calmly:

"Yogaroth created infinite universes."

More projections appeared.

Surviving civilizations.

Remaining transcendent beings.

Fragments of destroyed cosmic empires.

"If enough survivors unite…"

His runes glowed brighter.

"…collective resistance becomes statistically possible."

The Blade Legend laughed slightly.

"That's the most hopeful thing I've heard from you."

Secretary blinked once.

"Correct."

The Returning Shadows

Suddenly—

Baruka's eyes narrowed sharply.

The Frost Warlord looked toward the distant outer sea.

"Movement."

Immediately—

The battlefield became alert again.

Riku vanished instantly into dimensional scouting routes.

Moments later he returned.

Fast.

Even by his standards.

"Corrupted swarm incoming."

The white outer sea darkened far away.

Endless black shapes moved between universes.

Eldritch armies.

Millions of them.

But this time—

Something was different.

The corruption surrounding them felt more stable.

More evolved.

One Seraphim narrowed its glowing eyes.

"The Primordials improved them."

The atmosphere immediately became heavier.

Because now the enemy had begun adapting too.

The New Eldritch Generals

The swarm parted slowly.

Five gigantic figures emerged from the corruption.

Humanoid.

Massive.

Each radiating authority comparable to high monarchs directly.

The five Legends immediately felt pressure.

One of the creatures stepped forward.

Its body constantly shifted between forms while corrupted stars floated beneath its skin.

Then it spoke.

Clearly.

"The Primordials request further evaluation."

The Seraphim immediately spread their wings.

Golden authority erupted again.

The Angels recognized it instantly.

These weren't ordinary Eldritch Gods.

These were commanders.

Generals created specifically to test Jinyoung's side.

The corrupted general pointed directly toward Jinyoung.

"Especially you."

Abyssal Resolve

The Abyss behind Jinyoung expanded slowly.

The outer sea darkened once more.

His army stepped behind him instantly.

Liam drew his cursed blade.

Haru's magic circles covered nearby dimensions.

Brute roared deeply enough to shake universes again.

The five Legends moved forward too.

This time—

Without hesitation.

Because now they understood what they were fighting for.

Not merely Earth.

Not humanity alone.

But the future freedom of existence itself.

Jinyoung looked toward the approaching Eldritch generals calmly.

Then spoke one sentence.

"If they want evaluation…"

The Abyss pulsed infinitely behind him.

"…then let them witness resistance."

And across the outer sea—

War began again.
