The duo got their adventurer's licenses from the guild's receptionist, with both Clad and Jill receiving an A rank because of their combat skill, even though their powers more closely matched those of B ranks. The receptionist said that they usually also give knowledge tests, but gave up on them due to the huge number of otherworlders who came to get a license in the past few months.
Clad looked at his card and read the information that was on it.

"What's a class?" Clad asked the receptionist in front of him.
"Classes are the National Adventurer Organisation's way of categorizing awakened, mainly for simplifying. When a certain set of things is found in an awakened's way of fighting, they are put under that class. For example, you are a swordsman because your main weapon is a sword, and your friend here is a tank due to the data received from your test examiner, stating that she can take on Zaruya, who is also of the Tank class, and also take hits from her directly without losing balance."
"I see, thanks," Clad said.
"You're welcome, sir." The receptionist replied.
Clad and Jill then left the adventurer's guild to get their first quest done, a dungeon raid, but dungeon raids are done in groups of a minimum of 20 for safety reasons, so they had to join another group.
"Where can we find people willing to let us join?"
"I don't know, maybe we should ask around?" She replied.
As they talked about it, they ran into somebody they didn't really expect to see here, which was Adonis.
"Y'all don't have to worry about finding a team, because I already am part of one!"
"...Adonis? What are you doing here?"
"The fuck you mean, 'what am I doing here?"
"I was about to go into a dungeon with my team, then I saw y'all looking like lost kids on the side and had to invite y'all into the team I'm in!"
"...Alright, thank you, Adonis," Jill replied coldly.

"...lost kids...." Clad thought to himself.
As they were making their way towards Adonis's party, he asked them why they were going into the dungeon realm, and Clad replied that he needed to kill a certain monster for its parts and give it to a blacksmith, as he needed a new sword because Theo broke the other one.
"Oh yeah, he did break your sword."
Eventually, they joined the group of adventurers, which was pretty big, 20 members, and they were all planning to go deep into the dungeon. Adonis introduced them to the party leader.
"Oh, Adonis, I wondered where you went."
"Seems like you got more people to join us, great!" The captain said to him.
"Yeah, Yerva, these two were the ones I was talking about."
Clad and Jill saw Yerva, and both immediately noticed something: she was huge, like a walking piece of a wall, with muscles, scars, red hair, and golden armor; she had a big hammer with a very long handle and was almost 3 heads taller than Jill, who was already pretty tall, being 6'4.
Yerva greeted Clad and Jill, then waved at both of them with a warm smile, and then walked to the rest of her team, shouting that they would leave in 10 minutes and to get prepared.
