Clad stood still with his blade out, looking towards Theo for an opening, but his stance seemed impenetrable. Every time he went in for an attack, for the past few minutes, he would simply parry it or use it to his advantage. Clad knew that if he wanted to win this, he would need to hit him with something big and unpredictable.
"Alright, here it goes."
He breathed calmly and concentrated his energy on his blade, taking a different stance than usual as his blade stood up and forward, pointing at the sky. He stood silent.
"What is he doing?" Theo wondered as Clad's energy suddenly vanished. His energy was concentrated somewhere else.
"Putting all your energy in the blade? How bold."
As Clade continued to concentrate, Theo dashed towards him at an unimaginable speed.
"I don't know what you are planning to do, but I won't let you do it!" he shouts.
!?!?
"What the hell!?"
"He wasn't that fast earlier!"
Theo raised his blade high in the sky before speaking.
"It was a good fight, but now, it's over."
His sword came down at Clad like a falling meteor. Clad had to think fast, commit to all the energy he put into his blade, and attack or block his swing. With not even a second to react, Clad rotated his blade in an attempt to block his swing, but was left speechless when his Kazenite blade broke from the impact.
!!!
Theo's blade cut deep into the side of his neck before quickly stopping as he realized that he had almost killed him due to the fact that Clad's blade had shattered when both of their swords clashed.
"Are you alright?" Theo said as Clad's body fell, surprised by this, he approached him, and blood started pouring down his neck. Theo was sure that he stopped his blade from landing, but it seemed like it still did.
Suddenly, the area lit white before the realm suddenly vanished, revealing Clad with Theo standing next to his unconscious body.
!?
[And with that, the winners are the Silvereigns!] It could be heard from the outside with people cheering.
"Huh!?"
"How is he coming back with a wound!?" Narfuja said in shock as she shouted for a doctor's help in the arena.
