"So fast!"
Hatake Kakashi stared at the two figures in the video, who had nearly become twin streaks of lightning, his face filled with shock.
The Sharingan in his eye began spinning almost instinctively. He quickly pulled up his Forehead Protector and watched the battle through it.
Everyone else was equally stunned.
Aside from Uchiha Sasuke, whose strength was still relatively lacking, nearly everyone watching the diary was an elite. Even the weakest among them was at least Kage Level.
Yet despite that, they still struggled to follow the battle.
Only Seventh Hokage Uzumaki Naruto, the strongest among them, could see everything clearly.
"Damn it, they're fast!"
Uchiha Sasuke activated his Sharingan and stared intently at the fighters on the screen.
They were simply too fast!
Even with his Sharingan open, he still couldn't keep up with their movements. He could barely make out two flashes of lightning darting throughout the castle.
Both fighters were clearly holding back to some degree. They were relying almost entirely on Taijutsu and hadn't used any Ninjutsu.
Even so, everyone understood that while the exchange might look simple, getting hit by one of those blows would leave far more than a few bruises.
"That's Sasuke!"
Seventh Hokage Naruto could see clearly that the two combatants were Uchiha Sasuke and a towering, heavily built man.
And this wasn't a younger Sasuke.
Judging by his appearance, he was Sasuke from around their current age.
Sasuke spent most of his time away from the village, so contacting him was never easy. Usually, he only returned to Konoha after uncovering some new information.
His Space-Time Ninjutsu had grown increasingly refined, allowing him to teleport back to Konoha whenever necessary.
In the video, Uchiha Sasuke and his opponent fought their way from inside the fortress to the snowy exterior.
Yet even someone as powerful as Sasuke still couldn't defeat him.
That alone was enough to make Seventh Hokage Naruto's expression turn grave.
This was clearly an extremely troublesome enemy.
Worse still, another figure stood on the rooftop, silently watching the battle below.
A moment later, everyone finally got a clear look at the two people fighting in the snow.
They were Otsutsuki Kinshiki and Uchiha Sasuke.
Their Taijutsu exchange was spectacular. Both speed and strength had been pushed to their absolute limits.
"Is that Sasuke?"
Uchiha Itachi's heart tightened as he stared at the man in the video.
He immediately recognized him as the future Uchiha Sasuke.
What surprised him, however, was that Sasuke only had one arm.
There was no mistaking it.
Although he wasn't at a disadvantage against Otsutsuki Kinshiki, fighting with one arm was obviously inconvenient.
Had he possessed both arms, he might already have won their Taijutsu exchange.
Why is future Sasuke missing an arm? What kind of enemy could have severed it?
Uchiha Itachi froze.
At least in the future he knew of, Sasuke should still have both arms intact.
He had even awakened the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
What kind of enemy could possibly cut off his arm?
It clearly hadn't happened during this battle.
The reason was simple. Sasuke's movements were far too practiced. Fighting with one arm had obviously become second nature, something carved into his instincts.
He must have lost it a long time ago.
The others soon realized the severity of the situation as well.
They had all recognized Uchiha Sasuke.
As one of the two future saviors of the world, his strength was beyond question. Even as a teenager, he had stood unrivaled, and by middle age, he had clearly grown even stronger.
That brief Taijutsu exchange alone had been dazzling, filled with a sharpness and ferocity the present Uchiha Sasuke couldn't even imagine.
Yet despite all that, there was still an enemy he couldn't put down.
Did such terrifying beings truly exist in the Shinobi World?
In the video, Uchiha Sasuke suddenly used Amenotejikara, swapping places with a nearby stone statue.
"What was that? The Body Replacement Technique? No, that definitely wasn't the Body Replacement Technique!"
Hatake Kakashi initially mistook Sasuke's technique for the Body Replacement Technique, but he immediately noticed something was wrong.
The Body Replacement Technique required the user to switch places with a substitute prepared in advance.
The stone statue Sasuke had used clearly hadn't been set up beforehand.
It seemed more like some kind of dojutsu.
Kakashi had sensed the fluctuation of ocular power. This was obviously no ordinary Ninjutsu.
"A stone statue? He switched places with it?"
Otsutsuki Kinshiki spoke coldly.
"Hahaha! You let your guard down, Kinshiki."
A smug, aristocratic laugh drifted down from the rooftop.
Following Uchiha Sasuke's gaze, everyone finally saw the figure standing above.
He wore white clothing in the same style as Otsutsuki Kinshiki, but his body was slender and far more humanlike.
He only resembled a human, however. The differences were obvious at a glance.
A strange veil covered his head, giving him an androgynous appearance.
"Terrifying."
Uchiha Itachi narrowed his eyes.
He could feel the horrifying aura radiating from Otsutsuki Momoshiki.
In an instant, he determined that the man possessed some kind of dojutsu Kekkei Genkai.
There was a certain instinctive awareness that existed only between those who possessed dojutsu Kekkei Genkai.
Momoshiki hadn't revealed his eyes yet, so Itachi couldn't tell what kind of dojutsu he possessed.
But there was no doubt that his ocular power far surpassed Itachi's own.
It was even more terrifying than the power radiating from Nagato's Rinnegan.
It was a purely instinctive realization, something impossible to explain in words.
There was no question about it.
Future Sasuke had encountered an overwhelmingly powerful and seemingly unbeatable enemy.
Only now did Uchiha Itachi begin to understand the dangers Kaede Kitahara had recorded in his diary.
The others couldn't sense the ocular power as directly as Itachi could, but even they felt how terrifying Otsutsuki Momoshiki was.
When Otsutsuki Momoshiki noticed the six-tomoe Rinnegan in one of Uchiha Sasuke's eyes, he let out a curious sound.
"Oh? A Rinnegan?"
The scene suddenly changed.
Seventh Hokage Naruto appeared with his back to the camera, while the voice of a child who sounded remarkably similar to Uzumaki Naruto began speaking.
"Uzumaki Naruto is my father. Dad isn't like everyone else. He's the busiest ninja in the village. In other words, he's the Seventh Hokage. But even so, that doesn't give him the right to ignore me!"
"That voice… Is that Boruto?"
Seventh Hokage Naruto immediately recognized the speaker.
It was none other than his eldest son, Uzumaki Boruto.
The way Boruto spoke about his father also caught everyone's attention.
"Uzumaki Naruto's son?"
Tsunade raised an eyebrow.
At this point in time, that brat was only twelve or thirteen years old.
Seeing him with a son around the same age was almost laughable.
"Is that Boruto?"
A faint smile appeared on Namikaze Minato's face.
He had already seen what Uzumaki Boruto looked like when Kaede Kitahara used the Transformation Technique.
He simply hadn't expected to see Boruto in an actual video.
"That guy's son?"
Uchiha Sasuke stared at Uzumaki Boruto and couldn't help taking a closer look.
Boruto really did resemble Uzumaki Naruto.
He had the same blond hair, and even his voice sounded similar, though there were slight differences.
More importantly, Kaede Kitahara had repeatedly said that Uzumaki Boruto idolized Sasuke.
Sasuke had privately concluded that Boruto clearly had much better judgment than his father.
Naturally, that made him pay closer attention.
Especially when Uzumaki Boruto used Uzumaki Naruto's signature technique, the Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Soon afterward, Uchiha Sarada and Mitsuki appeared, completing a full Konoha squad.
As everyone watched Konohamaru's team work together to capture a panda, they immediately understood the nature of the mission.
It was the kind of assignment given to Genin who had only recently graduated, meant to give them practical experience.
There was some danger involved, but nothing especially serious.
Several of the people on screen also looked strangely familiar.
"That white-haired boy… Could he be connected to Orochimaru?"
The moment Jiraiya saw Mitsuki, he thought of Orochimaru.
That suspicion only deepened when Mitsuki stretched his arm until it became long and rope-like.
It was clearly one of Orochimaru's signature techniques.
Jiraiya had been Orochimaru's teammate for so many years. How could he possibly fail to recognize it?
Under normal circumstances, such a connection should have been impossible.
But Jiraiya remembered the earlier video in which the future Uzumaki Naruto traveled into the past to save him.
That video had mentioned that both Sasuke and Orochimaru had returned to the Hidden Leaf Village.
His first conclusion was that Mitsuki had to be connected to Orochimaru somehow.
"That brat Konohamaru has grown so much?"
Tsunade sighed with emotion.
The Konohamaru of the present was still a spoiled little brat who hadn't even graduated from the Ninja Academy.
From what she had heard, even the Old Man didn't know how to handle him.
He was the pampered grandson of a Hokage, and he had lost both parents at a young age.
During Pain's invasion of Konoha, he had stood against the Six Paths of Pain despite having only recently graduated from the Ninja Academy as a Genin.
Even then, he had already shown remarkable promise.
But now he had become a young adult.
He looked so much like his late father.
"It's a shame the Old Man will never get to see this. If he could watch Konohamaru grow up and even become a team leader, he'd probably be very happy."
Tsunade let out a quiet sigh.
After thinking about it, she realized the Old Man almost certainly wouldn't live long enough to see Konohamaru reach that age, even without the Konoha Crush Plan.
By then, the Old Man would have been nearly a hundred years old.
Such longevity was almost unimaginable in the Shinobi World.
The entire world was practically a civilization of short-lived people.
Very few survived long enough to die peacefully of old age.
