The next day.
Yamato stood excitedly in front of the Anywhere Door, her eyes closed as she pictured Totto Land's Cake Island in her mind.
Last night, the knight-like Yamato had clung to Luo Xing, insisting she wanted to try opening the door herself.
A thoroughly satisfied Luo Xing, of course, had agreed without hesitation.
So today, the honor fell to her.
Vinsmoke Reiju also came to watch, her interest unmistakable.
After her late-night conversation with Luo Xing—and learning Sanji's whereabouts—her mood had visibly improved.
Her lips often curved into a faint, unconscious smile as she walked forward on her long, elegant legs, radiating the subtle charm of a mature woman.
She watched Yamato and the door intently.
Meanwhile, Luo Xing was watching both of them.
If only I could hold the two of them together someday…
Last night's situation, honestly, should've involved all three.
But for now, Luo Xing still didn't dare let Yamato know about his other relationships.
That kind of truth would trigger a catastrophe.
Yamato finished visualizing the destination, then—like an excited child—reached out and pulled the handle.
Whoosh—
Brilliant, multicolored sunlight poured out from the doorway.
Cake Island, after all, was built of cream and candy; even the sunlight seemed dyed in vivid hues.
Yamato cheered and rushed through first.
Members of the Big Mom Pirates and the Beast Pirates followed one after another.
Luo Xing entered last.
Before closing the door, he glanced at Reiju.
"I'll come visit you when I have time."
Reiju froze.
"War is coming," Luo Xing added calmly. "I might get poisoned someday. I'll need your help."
Reiju's eyes flickered with something playful. Her fingers brushed lightly across her lips as she smiled.
"I understand, Lord Luo Xing."
Luo Xing swallowed hard and quickly shut the door.
He didn't see Reiju suddenly laugh behind him—bright and captivating, like flowers in full bloom.
Cake Island
Luo Xing put the Anywhere Door away.
Yamato asked curiously,
"Who were you talking to just now, husband?"
Luo Xing replied casually,
"Just giving Germa a few instructions. The North Blue will be ours eventually."
"We'll spread super crops and multifunctional Cybertronians there, too. The people will live well—just like in Wano."
"I'll help you realize your dream, step by step."
Yamato believed him completely. Her eyes shimmered with emotion.
If this weren't the wrong time and place, she would've agreed to anything he asked of her.
Boom!
Suddenly, a violent clash echoed through the sky.
The clouds tore apart, revealing two colossal figures.
One was a massive azure dragon, flames curling around its limbs, horns towering skyward—terrifying beyond measure.
The other stood atop a thundercloud: a gigantic woman with flaming hair, gripping a massive blade, her presence no weaker than the dragon's.
"Hmph!"
The dragon spoke.
"Linlin, I'll spare your life this time!"
Big Mom snapped back instantly,
"Kaido, it's me who spared you!"
The long-running farce between the two finally ended as they descended.
Kaido returned to human form. Big Mom sheathed Napoleon; Zeus and Prometheus settled down.
Though their battle had been more of a "friendly exchange," two Emperors fighting was still cataclysmic.
Nearly half of Cake Island lay in ruins.
Big Mom landed and barked,
"Katakuri! Get people to fix my palace—now!"
"Yes, Mama."
Katakuri handled it efficiently, simply delegating the task.
Repairs were routine in Totto Land.
Kaido stretched and laughed loudly.
"Feels good to loosen up!"
Then he turned to Big Mom.
"So, Linlin—about the alliance my son-in-law proposed. You in?"
They'd already heard everything mid-battle thanks to their Observation Haki.
Big Mom grabbed part of a roof, stuffed it into her mouth, and laughed.
"Of course! Whitebeard's territory is too big to let you enjoy alone!"
Kaido laughed as well.
"You're as greedy as ever."
Then Big Mom's eyes gleamed slyly.
"But I have a condition."
She grinned.
"Kaido—hand Luo Xing over to me. I want him as my son-in-law!"
Silence.
Dead silence.
Then—two people exploded in rage.
The first was Kaido.
He slammed his club into the ground, roaring,
"What did you say?! You want me to give you my son-in-law?! You really want to die, you old hag?!"
Luo Xing was now more important to the Beast Pirates than Kaido himself.
Kaido would absolutely fight Big Mom to the death over this.
The second was even angrier—
Yamato.
She had never felt rage like this in her life.
In an instant, she transformed into her Ōkuchi-no-Makami hybrid form, grabbed her kanabo, and charged Big Mom.
"You fat witch! How dare you lay eyes on my husband—I'll kill you!"
"Thunder Bagua!"
Buzz—
Black lightning snapped through the air.
Conqueror's Haki coating!
Big Mom's eyes widened in shock.
Another woman—besides herself—using advanced Conqueror's Haki?!
Katakuri and the others were utterly stunned.
That white-haired girl who'd been quietly sticking close to Luo Xing…
She possessed top-tier combat power?!
Even Katakuri couldn't use Conqueror's coating!
"Hahahaha!"
Kaido laughed so hard tears streamed down his face.
"That's my daughter!"
Luo Xing rubbed his forehead helplessly.
Yamato's jealousy was terrifying. One sentence, and she was ready to fight an Emperor.
The lightning-wrapped club was already swinging toward Big Mom's face before she reacted.
"Napoleon!"
Big Mom hastily blocked.
Sparks exploded. Metal screamed.
"You little brat—do you know who you're fighting?!"
"I don't care who you are! Nobody steals my husband!"
Yamato howled, her power surging.
She forced Big Mom back.
Big Mom staggered, nearly losing her footing, her face blank with disbelief.
Why is Kaido's daughter just as monstrously strong as Kaido himself?!
Even Kaido stared, stunned.
"When did Yamato get this strong…?"
Quinn leaned close to Luo Xing and whispered loudly,
"This is the power of jealousy—scarier than gods!"
Then, quietly,
"You'd better hide your other women well, Young Master…"
"Get lost!"
Luo Xing kicked him away.
Yamato's strength had risen sharply—thanks to Luo Xing's Time-Gravity Chamber, which only the two of them could use.
She trained relentlessly.
Her true power was far beyond what most imagined.
Only Luo Xing could stop her now.
He appeared beside her in a flash, pulling her gently into his arms.
"Easy, wife. I'll never leave you. We'll always be together."
That part, at least, was true.
After calming her down, Luo Xing turned to Big Mom.
"Joining your crew is impossible," he said calmly.
"But you can propose another condition."
