Kaido and Big Mom faced each other from opposite sides.
One held a massive kanabo, two long dragon horns rising from his head.
The other wielded Napoleon, her hair blazing like living fire.
Big Mom struck first.
"Kaido, you bastard! You dare come to my territory—and even dare pull that kind of stunt?! I'll kill you!"
"Ikoku Sovereignty!"
A colossal slash tore through the air.
Kaido's expression darkened as he roared back:
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! You crazy old hag—now I really will kill you!"
"Thunder Bagua!"
Truth be told, Kaido was unbelievably unlucky.
He'd only wanted to test his son-in-law's new invention.
As for the Log Pose pointing to Totto Land—he only had that one on him at the time. Pure coincidence.
Damn it… why am I always this unlucky?!
Enraged Kaido and an equally furious Big Mom clashed head-on.
The ground collapsed.
The sky split apart.
Countless homies were caught in the crossfire, buildings and forests reduced to rubble.
Big Mom's eldest son, Perospero, stretched out his long tongue and shouted:
"If this keeps up, the entire Cake Island will be destroyed!
Beast Pirates—this mess is entirely your fault!"
At that moment, Queen, Jack, and the rest of the Beast Pirates poured out of the Anywhere Door.
Jack, hearing Perospero's words, immediately bristled.
He pulled the shovel-blade hidden in his tusk and said coldly:
"Looking for a fight, you bastard?"
Big Mom's children were no pushovers either. They erupted in anger.
"Bring it on—who's afraid of you?!"
"Don't think we fear you just because you call yourselves the strongest Emperor crew!"
"This is our territory you invaded!"
The Beast Pirates were just as hot-blooded.
All of them were Zoan users, enhanced by Monster Cells—huge, ferocious figures with sharp teeth and savage auras that could frighten children at a glance.
Yet despite the shouting, neither side actually made a move.
Because the real decision-makers hadn't spoken yet.
And by that, they didn't mean Kaido and Big Mom—who were already tearing the island apart—but Luo Xing and Katakuri.
Katakuri gripped his trident-like weapon, Mogura, and stared at Luo Xing calmly.
"So… the Beast Pirates are prepared to go to war with the Big Mom Pirates?"
Luo Xing smiled lightly.
"Not at all. This was just an accident during testing."
Katakuri frowned.
"Then stop your captain. This is Cake Island."
Luo Xing shrugged.
"I can't do that—just like you can't stop your mother."
"But don't worry. Those two… seasoned elders know their limits. They won't go too far."
Despite the murderous shouting and brutal blows, neither Kaido nor Big Mom had used Haoshoku coating.
Without that, there would be no true victor—no fight to the death.
In Luo Xing's eyes, this was nothing more than a furious but familiar bout—a release of pent-up anger.
A very destructive "friendly match."
Even if it flattened half the island and lasted a day… or several.
Not my country. Not my problem.
Luo Xing continued calmly:
"Since they'll be busy for a while, how about we discuss cooperation instead?"
Katakuri, Perospero, and the others were stunned.
Cooperation?
With their captains trying to kill each other?
They didn't understand the true nature of Kaido and Big Mom's relationship—and Luo Xing had no intention of explaining.
Once those two inevitably started drinking together later, everything would make sense.
Luo Xing went on:
"You know the war between the Marines and the Whitebeard Pirates over Fire Fist Ace, don't you?"
Katakuri narrowed his eyes.
"So what? What does that have to do with us?"
Luo Xing smiled.
"We have no reason to fight for Whitebeard.
But while he ties down the Marines… taking something for ourselves is perfectly reasonable."
Silence fell.
Then—
Eyes lit up.
Whitebeard would mobilize everything to rescue Ace.
Which meant his territories in the New World would be left exposed.
Some of Big Mom's officers couldn't hide the greed in their expressions.
But Katakuri remained cautious.
"No matter the benefit—why should I trust you?"
Luo Xing was too mysterious.
The outside world knew almost nothing about him—only his actions:
Using the Senzu Bean auction as cover to kill Doflamingo.
Wiping out CP9 before the World Government could act.
Seizing the Pluton blueprints.
Each deed proved he was ruthless and dangerous.
That was why the World Government raised his bounty to three billion.
Trusting him lightly would be foolish.
Luo Xing understood the concern.
But this time, he truly had no ulterior motives.
Kaido and Big Mom were destined to ally sooner or later—he was merely accelerating the process.
He took a Senzu Bean from his pocket and tossed it to Katakuri.
"This is my sincerity."
Katakuri's heart shook.
A single bean was worth tens of billions—and Luo Xing handed it over without hesitation.
More importantly… Katakuri needed it.
The last one he brought back had been taken by Big Mom.
He wanted this—for his sister Brûlée, to heal her scars.
Cold as he appeared, Katakuri was a deeply caring brother.
More than Big Mom herself, he was the true backbone of the crew.
That was why Luo Xing chose to negotiate with him.
Katakuri stored the bean and nodded slightly.
"Thank you."
Then he asked seriously:
"What's your plan?"
Luo Xing answered leisurely:
"The Marines are the greatest power on the seas.
Even Whitebeard can't defeat them outright."
"To save Ace, he'll commit everything."
"And that leaves his New World territory… empty."
"If we don't take it, someone else will."
Katakuri's eyes sharpened.
Others were already imagining it.
Whitebeard's vast domain—the biggest piece of the Four Emperors' pie.
Finally, Katakuri spoke:
"This decision must be made by Mother herself."
Luo Xing smiled faintly.
Greedy as Big Mom was, refusal was impossible.
This alliance was inevitable.
Before ending the discussion, Luo Xing added:
"One more thing—do you have a Log Pose to the Germa Kingdom in the North Blue?"
