Rei felt nervous but had to calm himself down since he didn't want to make anyone in the room uneasy, especially with the parents of the friends that he was acquainted with. "You! Why?! Why did you let my precious daughter die?!" A man exclaimed, gripping tightly on the collar of his uniform.
The man had Hinata's eyes as he breathed heavily, Rei wanted to comfort them as he let the man drag him around. The headmaster was shocked as he tried to diffuse the situation as Rei stopped him by raising his hand towards him.
The headmaster didn't know what the young man wanted to intend but had assumed that it was a way to let the mourning father vent up his grief to the daughter he lost. "My daughter is my pride! My joy! My happiness! My dearest! And yet she died in that so-called simple mission of your expedition!" Mr. Hayasaka said before raising another fist as it landed on Rei's face, swollen and bleeding then bruised from the endless assault.
Rei understood the grief and immense sadness that the man was in. After all, he himself had lost his own father despite the abuse that went through. He loved his father since there were times where he and his dad had always spent time comforting and enjoying each other's company.
Small moments such as his father pretending to be the villain while he played as the hero. It was those moments that he cherished his father so much that his hate and anger towards the man was equally balanced.
'Brat. Keep this up and I'll switch over since this is basically part of the deal.' Keith said through their mental link before Rei decided to persuade the ancient being, 'Don't. I'll let you out for the entire day and preferably have Eunji to watch over you.'
'Alright. Bet. Healing paid with her. Best offer. Understandable. Have a great day.' Rei sighed and sweatdropped internally, feeling already sorry for the senior who he offered as a sacrifice for the ancient being's entertainment for today.
Rei could feel the stinging pain around his face, he was used to enduring it but couldn't help but wonder if the man still needed to let out more steam before noticing each punch becoming slower and softer.
Mr. Hayasaka was already breathing heavily as the latter was already exhausted and drained from assaulting Rei. "Bastard… Why… Why did it have to be my daughter…" He uttered softly, sobbing loudly as Rei felt a pang of guilt and sadness in his heart.
Rei didn't say anything but comforted the man by patting his back, making the man more guilty and angry yet felt composure. "It's not your fault for letting her study here. It is not my fault for allowing her to come with me despite the request of the mission. It was a cruel act of offering us as a sacrifice to whatever this world is trying to do." Rei said moments later before the rest of the parents went close, Mrs. Hayasaka picking her husband up.
"We're sorry…" she uttered before Rei intervened, "No. I'm sorry. No parent should lose their child like that nor have anyone judge them for the way they cope with what they lost. I'm truly sorry for what had happened."
The headmaster sighed before the other parents expressed their same grief and anger directed at Rei which the latter understood before they explained the reason why. "We are not mad at you. We are angry that you decided to pay all the allowance and fee needed for our children's funeral."
Sho was shocked, he was asking Jinwoo why Rei didn't have any sort of allowance or money left after the internship weeks ago as the latter didn't want to say anything and to just simply ask the young man.
He never knew that the young man was so responsible to the point that he would pay for the cost of the funeral of the grieving family that had lost their children. "It's the best that I can do. And as well, no grieving parents should be the one to handle such a burden." Rei said which made the parents cry while Mr. Hayasaka apologised for his actions.
"There's no need to apologise. You just needed to vent that out. The anger and pain. I understand it completely." Rei reassured the man before one of them asked something important, "Was there… any… did my son say something…" Haruki's mother asked, voice shaky.
Rei's eyes softened, "I'm sorry. I wasn't there for them so I didn't know what their last words were." Mrs. Nakamura fell down before Rei spoke out, which caught them all off guard.
"However, during our moments together as friends we loved spending time with each other even if it's a simple hangout or training with each other. I was told that they appreciated y'all for supporting them even when hope seemed to vanish away from them with the pressure of the academy's requirements."
Mrs. Hayasaka, Mr. Nakamura and Mr. Delilah was the one who cried the most, the calm parents who were supposed to stay strong for their partners immediately broke down as they reconciled. The Hayasaka family expressed their gratitude for not only paying for the funeral fee but also sending out the money for future necessities that they would need.
The Nakamura family thanked Rei for being there for their son before the incident since they were mostly busy and weren't able to be there a lot for him especially with their schedules clashing. The Delilah family were humble and respectful towards him before expressing their gratitude and apologies to him again especially with their one sided hate against him during the first week of their mourning.
In the end, all were resolved peacefully like respectful adults and individuals since most situations like this would've ended up with more conflicts and breed more hate in the future. Rei was glad that the parents were good people.

Rei was getting scolded by Elliot once again for getting injured. "You brat! And here I thought that you ain't gonna visit me like old times sake!" The male nurse after mixing a bit of potions before handing it to him.
"Well, what can I say? I just miss your tonics doc." Rei joked before Elliot just let out a grumbled chuckle, "Why? Was the replacement that bad when I left?"
Rei's silence made Elliot looked at him if he was joking but the latter just stayed even more silent which worried the nurse. "Say sike right now. Don't fxck with me." The nurse demanded before Rei shook his head, "HOW IS THAT SCHOOL STILL GOING WITH THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE BEING SENT TO THE INFIRMARY?!" Elliot asked before Rei responded back, "No clue. Probably got too scared cause I didn't send them to the infirmary but the hospital instead. Also, their tonics are shit when I went there myself."
The nurse wanted to argue back for the last part but the male made a fair argument since mixing potions and tonics for medical purposes required patience, effort and time. "You know what. I ain't even gonna argue. Closet masochist." Elliot teased as Rei retorted back by attacking the latter's love life, earning a hit to the head but the two laughed before the black haired male left the infirmary.

Eunji was having a migraine not from the paper work that she was working with but rather a certain fox that was currently sitting on her lap. "What?" It asked as the strawberry blonde could feel the vein in her head popping.
'That damn brat is dead to me!' Eunji uttered to herself angrily internally, breaking the pen she was holding as Rinka who saw it decided not to press her teasing manners as she wasn't gonna risk any playful banter that would set off the 'Ice Queen'.
"Nothing." Eunji answered with a calm tone and expression, not wanting to indulge with the Fallen's antics although it was mischievous.
"Anyways, your thighs are impressive. It feels soft yet it's hard… Impressive for a sorceress to workout…" The ancient being commented as Eunji wanted nothing more but to throw or to bash the ancient being against a wall for such comment.
"If you're gonna disturb me, at least just let me finish this before I indulge to whatever you want." Eunji as she soon to regret her words upon realising what that meant which made Rinka try her best to hold herself from laughing.
The fox and her stared for a long moment, "Whatever I want right?" The ancient being asked in a playful tone and manner.
Eunji popped a vessel, feeling her rage and fury immediately unleashing while Rinka couldn't help herself but start laughing quietly at the corner. "Just shut up." The strawberry blonde demanded, "Kinky." Rinka laughed while Eunji was practically holding herself back from activating her prowess just to bash the being's skull. "Fxcking freak…." She muttered as her fist was shaking and a bit white from clenching it too hard.
"You better prepare yourself tomorrow, Rei!" Eunji uttered to herself grimly with her eyes glowing bright as she planned to beat the junior for making such troubles with letting the ancient being stick around with her.
......…
Meanwhile, Rei sneezed as Sylvie looked confused while the librarian was surprised to see the male sneezing out of no where. "Ya good?" Sylvie asked while Rei nodded his head, "Yeah. Felt like as if I'm being cursed at…" The black haired male uttered, feeling defeated as his mind wondered if he should prepare a funeral casket for him tomorrow especially when he basically sacrificed Eunji to be Keith's caretaker for the day.
"I'm cooked as fxck… Nah, I'm beyond cooked…" Rei thought to himself while listening to Sylvie's cheerful talk regarding of the things she did today along with Jinah, Ha-Eun and Keitaro tagging along with them.
