After Rei Nishimura's defeat
The creature held Rei as it was ready to devour him before their own body glowed a golden yellow hue as the energy that they possessed was immediately absorbed by him. It was confused for a moment but immediately shuddered, feeling the intense presence of someone more powerful than them.
"You either let go or I'll do it myself. The choice is yours, insect"
A deep voice uttered as the creature seemed to understand its statement, letting go of Rei immediately as it retreated without any hesitation while the latter just flipped around to land on their feet at the second.
"Finally. I can control his body now. You got balls to try killing my vessel when I exist within the brat." They said as the creature could only stare at him, still shocked at the amount of power that they emitted.
The one who stood wasn't Rei anymore, the same unique markings again on his face while having an extra set of eyes above and below the main ones.
A glowing golden yellow on the main eye while the above glowed a scarlet red and the bottom being a shade of bright blue. The most visible thing was its fox-like slit on each eye; it was the eye of an apex predator which intensified their presence within the room.
"Especially when these technique formulas hinder my influence and their prowess flow." The ancient being stated before walking casually. "I'll give you a piece of my advice. Don't use my power when you don't even understand how to use it in the first place."
The creature immediately got a deep cut as they bleed out a purplish colour, their own blood as they wondered what kind of attack that the now possessed Rei had just done.
"That's one of my own techniques yet you weren't able to use it when you've been using my relic." The ancient being said before vanishing as it struck the creature right in the chest, the latter screaming in agony as every limb that it sent out to stop him was immediately cut off before reaching him.
The 'Fallen' immediately ripped out what seemed to be a marble that was faintly glowing before crushing it in his palm, the faint golden yellow energy immediately seeping into his body. "I wonder how you found it but it doesn't matter. It's at least worth two tails for now."
The creature pushed him aside, confused at its slow healing as it did its best to try fixing itself with how they used their spiritual energy at the first but now couldn't do the same thing immediately. Every ounce of spiritual energy that they've tried to control, immediately spiralling out of control like a current that couldn't find any fuse box to properly direct their flow.
"Trying to heal? Too bad. You don't have enough knowledge for that." The 'Fallen' said before continuing, "You see. My own spiritual energy reserves and ridiculous output is already enough for me to naturally heal but it's not something special to us since it's supposed to be a natural trait for us compared to these mere mortals…"
His eyes glowed, glaring right at the creature before flicking their fingers as another deep cut embedded itself onto the creature which injured them even further. "Go on. Heal yourself. You've already known how it works, especially with my relic that you've owned for quite a while… it should be natural to you by now…"
The creature did its best to heal as it managed to at least heal a couple of injuries, steam emitting from them before regrowing their limbs although it wasn't as fast as his especially when the possessed Rei had already healed its injuries within seconds or the moment it took control over the body.
"Nice. But I'm done playing. I got matters to attend more important than your worthless existence." He smiled before the creature was cut into oblivion, killing them immediately without any hesitation before making its way towards the places where his eyes could see.
The 'Fallen' immediately arrived towards Sylvie's location as he massacred the entire group upon arrival. Screams of agony and blood splattered all over the place while he walked towards the magenta haired girl, checking her vitals as his eyes widened.
"Her prowess is intact but it's completely suppressed…" He said to himself picking her up gently before vanishing along with her as he arrived at where Haruki was.
The butcher's knife is cut cleanly before it could even land as the 'Fallen' had immediately killed the guy along with the couple of stragglers, screams and blood going all over the place before doing the same thing once again.
The ancient being arrived just in time when the group were about to assault the two girl's, hands on their belt while the two unconscious and near death's door had their shorts slowly pulled down.
They couldn't even get the chance to react as the moment they felt his presence, the ones closest to the two girls and on their way to go further had their heads beheaded immediately.
The rest could only scream as they were immediately executed without any warnings, no chances for them to even defend themselves as they couldn't tell what kind of attacks were being thrown at them other than the visible injuries that their fallen comrades had which was a deep cut.
They tried to reinforce their body with spiritual energy and prowess enhancement which ultimately failed as the attacks had gone through them immediately. Their bodies falling apart as more blood painted the floor.
The 'Fallen' went to check on the two girl's vitals as his eyes widened before emitting an golden yellow aura on his right hand as he coated the two girls. Immediately halting after a brief moment as he cracked his neck before picking them up as well.
He had Haruki and Sylvie over his shoulders while the two girls were carefully dragged although the latter was keeping tabs on checking their vitals as it walked through the long hallway.
"Why am I saving them…" The ancient being thought to themselves before sensing a couple of energy, assuming that the reinforcement had arrived especially when he could see a particular shade of blue and emerald green amongst the other red, green and purple ones.

Eunji was frustrated at the fact that she got a brief meeting with one of the staff that talked nonsense along with Rinka who could tell that something was off until Eto went to inform them regarding the approved document that neither she and the headmaster had seen nor witnessed from before.
This was something that caught them off guard as the only people that they could gather was Eto herself as the only sorceress who could assist them as a higher ranked close to Eunji then followed up with Rinka.
The rest were Elliot and Eri since they had no clue if the mission itself was gonna be simple for Rei's group. Once they've arrived, Eunji immediately scans the area through the passive ability of her prowess.
Rei's signature was flickering while Sylvie's signature was dormant as if her prowess didn't exist similar to 'blanks' while the other three were on the verge of death itself.
Eunji had withdrawn her weapon out of the sheath as Rinka followed up by activating her prowess as she made a pair of sharp daggers with serrated edges. Eto manifested what seemed to be a tree trunk and vines in a purplish colour while Elliot and Eri had gotten their medical supplies ready.
They were all prepared to enter until a powerful presence had entered the entire area. "What the hell is this?!" The entire group thought to themselves except for Eunji who's eyes were widened.
"No… That presence… It's them!" Eunji gritted her teeth, her aura intensified as she channeled every ounce of spiritual energy that she had.
The strawberry blonde was preparing for a fight that couldn't be avoided but what shocked them was when a figure appeared from the shadows.
A pair of glowing golden yellow eyes along with an extra set above and below the main ones. Scarlet red on top and bright blue on the bottom.
The fox-like slit that belonged to the being that Eunji had carved into her memory upon her first encounter. She was shaking in fear, wondering if the temporary group that they've formed is enough to stall time for themselves against the ancient being.
"Treat the trio. I've already done my part."
The statement that came out of the 'Fallen' was surprising as the latter had put the trio carefully before doing the same to Sylvie. "The brat is fine. All healed. Focus on the three but Sylvie is more important after taking care of those near death's door." He said before falling unconscious as everything that changed on Rei's body had returned back to normal.
Eunji immediately caught Rei's unconscious body, checking his vitals before Eri and Elliot went to check on the other three especially with Haruki since his right hand was almost gone.
"Jeez! How is this kid still alive?!" Elliot stated but Eri had gotten them all frozen up from her observation and treatment when she scanned them with her prowess.
"Get a medical unit immediately! I'll keep them alive! They're in a suspended animation. I don't know if they'll die once the treatment starts but get them as soon as possible!" Eri said as a bright red immediately formed around her then the unconscious and injured trio, the gears turning slowly while potions in her hand immediately went to work as she coated their injuries.
"What the hell happened here?" Was the only thing that Eto could think to herself before Eunji dropped another major bomb.
"Sylvie's prowess… It's gone…"
