Rei felt a bit pumped out as he tried his luck to at least another attack on the creature but had soon found his inevitable defeat after the creature screamed in a way that froze him while grabbing him by the head before slamming him down onto the ground multiple times.
His blood all over the floor as Rei had let out his last breath before going unconscious, entering his slumber from exhaustion and the injuries that he sustained.
Not knowing that if he stayed conscious, he would've gotten a better understanding with how to control his spiritual energy more efficiently despite the massive difference in being depowered down.

Sylvie was having so much trouble with trying to keep up with her enemies especially when her passive ability was gone, her additional reflexes and perception of time being slowed being stolen away from her as she tried to manage the only abilities that she could use for now.
"I can't keep up…" She muttered to herself as she was getting herself grazed by the knives and daggers that they were holding, her sleeves being cut which immediately sent a sharp sensation to her nerves from her now exposed cut skin.
"Damnit… Whoever orchestrated this ambush… It's like they know our strengths and weaknesses…" Sylvie thought to herself, recalling how the only one who could deal with the creature is Rei while she was separated from the trio. "This feels like a personal vendetta…" The magenta haired girl uttered before trying her best to knock her opponents out immediately by hitting their vital points with whatever strength she could muster with her weakened prowess and power that she had.
Sylvie tried her best to slow down time to her best since her passive ability wasn't working as she used the slow perception when slowing someone down before dodging then parrying their attacks instantly.
Some of them threw their daggers at her in which the magenta haired girl slowed the daggers down before catching one of them before throwing it at them. "If they're aiming to get me by any means, then I might as well return the favor!" She gritted her teeth before grabbing another pair of daggers as she slowed time down to stab them right in the knees or shoulders to return the favor back.
Her desperation is fighting hard, trying to conserve her spiritual energy yet using enough to slow anything down when things are out of hand. Sylvie's time manipulation prowess both drains her and helps her to avoid situations where she could've been hit fatally if it weren't for her trained reflexes through Rei's training regime before the sports festival.
Clocks and gears manifested once again as Sylvie slowed time down for a moment to avoid a fatal punch and a stab from behind which she barely avoided. "Damnit! I'm not getting anywhere if I can't find an opening to run or avoid them!" She gritted her teeth before catching someone's arm upon trying to attack her as she immediately pulled them as she dislocated their shoulder before breaking their arm, fracturing them in the process before kicking them away from her.
Her reserves were already running low despite her efficiency with controlling her spiritual energy for the output and execution of her weakened prowess.
Time was running quickly for her, Sylvie wanted to end this quickly whether to escape it or to defeat them in order to get back with the trio. "We just need to call for reinforcement…" She muttered as no matter how much she tried to use the communication device that Rei had given to the group, it wouldn't work since the magenta haired girl had assumed that the ambush had some sort of signal blocker.
"This is no ordinary ambush…" Sylvie thought to herself, her worry increasing by the second, "It's planned!"
The magenta haired girl immediately started to formulate a lot of simulation and plans in her head to avoid and escape the situation, her main priority is to get back to the trio and to call for reinforcements immediately while either get Rei in the process if possible but what's important was getting reinforcement like the seniors that Rei had told her about since the trio already knew who were the only people in the male's extracurricular class.
Sylvie tried her best to escape but the pursuits were almost exhausting as they didn't give up on capturing or injuring her. She only noticed that they were trying to apprehend her like how police or Ethereal enforcers arrest an individual.
If that's what they've been trying to do then it was important that she had to run and escape to either call reinforcements herself or to get the trio then call the reinforcement, either way, the important task was to survive.
Sylvie was so close at what seemed to be an exit, a way for her to escape until she was immediately pushed then slammed through the wall. Every part of her body ached in pain, probably from shattered bones within her as she tried her best to rewind her injuries with her time manipulation prowess despite the amount of reserves that she had left.
"What the hxll?" She uttered before looking up from where she got hit, surprised that there was a person wielding a sledge hammer.
"Oh my? You're pretty cute." The tall male said, eyeing her up and down with a perverted gaze and expression on their face. "Too bad that the boss said to cripple you."
Sylvie's eyes widened as she barely avoided the sledgehammer that was supposed to hit on her guts if she didn't roll herself over.
"Don't move. I hate it when pretty women move a lot!" They shouted with a perverted tone as they immediately got their sledgehammer ready again.
Syvlie panicked while breathing heavily, exhausted physically and mentally from keeping up with such a situation that could take her life at any moment from either immediate death or slow suffering from these people's twisted desires.
"Fxck off." She grunted before spitting out blood, wiping her mouth as she immediately channeled her spiritual energy.
She was trying her best to fill up her reserves while dodging and evading the latter's on-going assault. "I can get out through there but I gotta time it right." Sylvie thought to herself before gathering enough power to use her weakened prowess.
The magenta haired girl's eyes widened upon finding an opening, using the exposed advantage as she both kicked the person right in the guts as hard as she could before dashing and sprinting immediately to the exit.
"There we go!" Sylvie uttered internally, finally feeling a bit of hope to be able to get out of the situation although the same presence of the tall male immediately broke her hope.
"Where are you going sweetheart?"
Her eyes widened not in shock but fear, the male smiling widely with a perverted look before slamming the sledgehammer right into her guts as she was sent further away from the exit.
"Damn you… How?" Sylvie uttered as she tried to stand up but immediately felt a sharp pain through her neck.
A small male, holding what seemed to be an injection and immediately injecting whatever the contents within it as Sylvie felt her body on fire while her prowess immediately flickered on and off constantly as if it was trying to fight whatever the substance had infiltrated her body.
The magenta haired girl immediately stood up as she fought to her best despite the stinging injury that she had sustained just now. Desperately defending herself despite how her body had refused to move from the injury as Sylvie could feel every ounce of her strength being drained away from total exhaustion.
From fighting multiple opponents with a weakened prowess then to sustaining a major injury while her prowess seemed to diminish by the second as time passed by.
"Is it done?" The tall male asked the short male, their head nodding as the latter smiled. "Nice. That means we can do whatever I want, right?"
Sylvie's eyes widened upon hearing their statement, immediately pulling herself away as she cried in pain when the latter pinned her. She could feel their breath over her ears as she screamed, trying her best to stay conscious and to fight back despite the injury that she sustained.
Hope seemed to vanish as she felt the same presence from the incident where she first encountered the creature during the time where Eunji was looking for the relic at Rei's apartment.
Sylvie thought that it was an inevitable fate for her to end up suffering before death although before she lost consciousness, the magenta haired girl saw a figure similar to Rei but the aura it emitted was golden yellow instead of the usual red.
"R-Rei…" She muttered as her vision started to deteriorate but the obvious scent and sounds of blood and screams of agony was the last thing that Sylvie could ever witness before losing consciousness.
