Anning Town was small and sparsely populated. Its environment was quaint and tranquil. It was famous for its pottery, and every year, many merchants came to purchase ceramics to resell.
The town's tavern had few patrons and was currently very quiet. A cold, aloof woman in a cloak sat by the window.
Beside her sat a man with dragon horns, his upper body bare. His pupils were golden-yellow, and he had his legs crossed as he sat next to the woman. The waiter and the manager at the counter couldn't see him at all; the manager was simply preoccupied, clacking away at his abacus.
"Even though I'm not your true master, you're still going to follow me?"
Qi Muxue, inside this body, gazed at the gradually brightening sky and spoke without looking away.
