To ensure the quality of the special effects in the trailer, Li Peifeng specially consulted with Guli Nazha and got in touch with the MOREVFX studio that made the effects for "The Wandering Earth".
He told them his requirements using storyboard scripts. With just a few dozen shots and a total special effects duration of only ten seconds, the quote was four hundred thousand. This was with a discount because, for some reason, the film industry isn't doing well at the moment, and the effects company had no work, otherwise, such small advertising effects would be priced much higher.
Li Peifeng didn't hesitate much. He agreed to the four hundred thousand; you have to risk it for the biscuit.
