Listening to Logan Shaw's question, Evelyn's heart was filled with mixed emotions, and she gently shook her head.
"Why?" Logan Shaw approached Evelyn, "Even if you divorce him, you can't give me a chance?"
"I won't divorce him." Evelyn said resolutely, "I'll be with him for a lifetime, no matter what hardships we encounter, we'll be together, not apart!"
"If you two won't separate, I promise to only be friends, I won't have improper thoughts about you!" Logan Shaw exclaimed, "But if you do separate, promise me, give me a chance!"
Evelyn still shook her head.
Even if she and Caden Lockwood couldn't make it to the end, how could she allow Logan Shaw to wait in vain for her?
"Are you really that heartless?" Logan's voice was full of sorrow, "Evelyn, all I want is just one chance, and you won't even give me that?"
"You deserve to be with a better woman." Evelyn spoke sincerely, "Logan, we're better off as friends."
