"No." Julian Keaton shook his head firmly, "Mom, Cece is in no way inferior! Being able to marry her is my blessing!"
"Even though Julian's parents don't recognize you now, you mustn't hold a grudge, and you must be filial to them, understand?" Mrs. Lynch advised, "After all, they are the parents of the man you love."
Cecilia Lynch nodded, "Mom, don't worry, I will."
Mrs. Lynch sighed heavily. Her health was poor, and she couldn't work for too long. Soon after, she fell asleep.
Cecilia Lynch nestled in Julian Keaton's arms, the two curled up on the sofa, sharing identical expressions of happiness.
"Cece," Julian Keaton's voice carried excitement, "pinch me; I always feel like I'm dreaming!"
Cecilia Lynch couldn't help but laugh. She pinched Julian Keaton's waist hard, then smilingly asked, "Does it hurt?"
"Yes, it hurts." Julian Keaton tightened his arms, holding Cecilia Lynch even closer, "But even though it hurts, I still don't dare to fully believe all this is real!"
