Feeling Julian Keaton's unease, fear, loneliness, and helplessness, Cecilia Lynch leaned in his arms and softly asked, "If no one blesses us, will you still continue?"
"I will!" Julian Keaton replied resolutely.
Loosening his hold on Cecilia slightly, he looked into her eyes and continued, "Even if you don't see hope for this relationship anymore, or stop loving me, I will still continue!"
Cecilia Lynch bit her lip, raised her hand, and gently wiped away the moisture from Julian Keaton's eyes.
Causing this strong man to endure hardship with her made her heart ache as if it were being crushed by a thousand armies.
"Julian." Cecilia Lynch's voice was stuck in her throat, "I'm worried you'll resent me in the future, that I made you lose everything you once had."
"Have a little faith in me," Julian Keaton said softly, "and have a little faith in yourself."
Cecilia Lynch nodded, took a deep breath, and said, "My mom said she wants to talk to you in private."
