Couldn't afford to cry for too long, or even show a trace of sadness. Evelyn practiced her smile in the mirror, noticing a few missed calls on her phone, all from Logan Shaw.
Evelyn forced her spirits up, then called Logan back.
As soon as Logan received the call from Evelyn, he anxiously started: "Evelyn! Did something happen? I've been waiting for you to call me back."
"Nothing's wrong, I went to meet Cece," Evelyn explained quietly. "She's having some difficulties with Julian, so I went to comfort her."
"The Keaton Family doesn't agree?" Logan sighed. "Looks like she has a long road ahead of her still."
"Yes!" Evelyn responded gently. "So, I'll come over to get the tickets later, and then bring them to her. We probably won't have dinner; let's celebrate after your concert successfully ends!"
"Alright!" Logan replied. "Anyway, Lefty and Righty miss you too. Let me know when you're coming to get the tickets, and I'll bring them out as well."
