Evelyn took the bracelet out from her bag and handed it to Logan Shaw, whispering, "I originally wanted to keep it from you, maybe throw it away or hide it, so perhaps you wouldn't feel sad. But after thinking it over, I felt it would be better to return it to its rightful owner."
Pausing for a moment, Evelyn continued, "After all, keeping this with you serves as a memento, right?"
Looking at the slender silver bracelet, a deep complexity flashed in Logan Shaw's eyes.
