Bella was still in her costume, already feeling too hot, and the little girl hugging her made it even hotter.
But she was reluctant to let go.
"Mommy misses you too." Bella smiled and kissed the little girl's rosy cheek, and asked, "Is it hot running over here?"
"Seeing you, Mommy, makes it not hot." The little girl's voice was as sweet as if painted with honey, and she smiled at Bella, "Mommy, you look so pretty like this."
"Do you like it?"
"I like it." The little girl nodded.
"Then after we go back, Mommy will buy you the same outfit," Bella said. "You all came over, what about Grandma?"
"Grandma is at home. Daddy will take care of us, so Grandma isn't worried." The little girl replied crisply, then looked up at Director Rowe and the others around, and waved to everyone obediently, "Hello, uncles and aunts, brothers and sisters. Thank you for taking care of my mommy. Daddy will buy you ice cream."
