The business meeting went very smoothly, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Without realizing it, they chatted for several hours, and when it was time to leave, they felt there were still some things in the script they hadn't finished discussing. So, they found a tea room and talked for another two hours before finally wrapping up.
Watching Director Simons get into his car and leave, Bella finally relaxed the tense string she had been holding tight.
Cynthia Young glanced at her watch; it was already past four in the afternoon.
"Having interrupted your lunch with your friend, is your friend mad?"
Bella laughed, "He's not that petty. We've arranged to have hot pot together for dinner. Ms. Young, if you don't have any other appointments on your wrist, why don't you join us? I've been back for a few days but haven't had a meal with you yet."
"Sure." Cynthia did indeed have nothing planned for the evening.
