Although the sudden news was a bit alarming, Aiden Hayes just paused for a moment before smiling.
"Mr. Sinclair, we can sit down and have a proper talk at noon." When it came to work-related matters, Aiden Hayes immediately put away his playful demeanor.
"Alright." Damian Sinclair nodded, then turned to Bella Acker and said, "I'll drive you to the dinner first."
"No need, you guys have work to discuss. I can just take a cab there myself," Bella Acker said.
"Work isn't as important as you are," Damian Sinclair said. "Come on. There are too many kids at the panda exhibit today; it's too noisy. Next time we'll take Talia to the panda base, it's much bigger there, and there are more pandas."
Bella Acker was flustered by his comment that work isn't as important as you, her heart pounding wildly, hardly paying attention to what he said afterward.
