Cecilia Lynch laughed enough, then said, "That night, I followed the hotel and room number address given by Mrs. Sinclair and rushed over, Damian was already dead drunk, lying on the bed."
"And you took advantage of the situation?" Bella Acker frowned.
"Yes, I did want to take advantage of the situation. Because I know Damian is a responsible man, as long as I gave myself to him, even if he doesn't love me, my position in his heart would be different from other women." Cecilia looked at her and said, "Bella, don't think you're the only one who truly loves him. I love him too, and I've loved him ever since I first saw him at thirteen, for a whole twelve years. Before you came along, I always felt that if I just liked him a bit longer, he'd like me too. It wasn't until you appeared that I realized liking someone has nothing to do with how long you've known them."
Bella Acker clenched her fingers, her fingertips pressing into her palm, silently listening to Cecilia speak.
