The three of them were having dinner, and Ethan, knowing that Bella wasn't in a good mood, tried to cheer her up sensibly.
Bella also didn't want to worry him and Aunt Sienna, so she played along with him for a while. When he got tired, she took him to wash up.
Aunt Sienna first took Ethan back to his room to sleep, and then came out again. After a moment of hesitation, still feeling worried, she couldn't help but ask, "Bella, what did you talk about on the phone this afternoon? What was Mr. Sinclair's attitude?"
"Damian told me not to worry, that he would handle those matters." Bella lied, "Aunt Sienna, it's fine. I trust Damian. You don't need to worry either."
"Did Mr. Sinclair really say that?"
"Really, would I lie to you?" Bella smiled, "Aunt Sienna, it's getting late, you should go to bed early. Ethan doesn't sleep well without you by his side."
"Alright, then you should rest early too."
"Mhmm, goodnight." Bella gently hugged Aunt Sienna before heading up to the attic.
