Mr. Sinclair put away his phone and said, "It's not compensation; it's that their clothes need to be replaced. Since Bella asked me to help, I should do something."
Doing something is fine, but do you have to start with a whole batch of new clothing?
Doesn't it feel a bit extravagant?
Bella's mouth twitched slightly, "Well, thank you."
"No need." Damian Sinclair placed the nearby clothes into the wash basin and said without looking at her, "Ms. Acker, don't misunderstand. I'm here because of Bella, and I'm giving clothes because of those kids. It has nothing to do with you, so you don't need to thank me."
Bella heard and lowered her gaze, "I understand, I'll thank you on behalf of the children."
Damian Sinclair's grip on the clothes suddenly tightened; he knew very well in his heart why he was here, but when he spoke, the meaning changed completely.
