Luna noticed all the beastmen looking her way, and gave a faint smile. "We'll need several more days for mining, so other tribes' scouts will probably come to investigate. We're too far from the tribe here; if a conflict breaks out, it's not to our advantage. Better to dispel their doubts entirely."
She wasn't wrong—The Eagle Tribe didn't know how to smelt or forge ore; even if they did haul it back, it'd just be a pile of junk.
Corbin Crowley's silver eyes fixed on her, his lips curving into a pampering smile. "Luna is completely right, you've considered everything."
Kian Sterling nodded in support. "That's true, our top priority is mining right now—a side skirmish isn't worth it."
The other beastmen, hearing this, fell silent as well—clearly accepting the plan.
After breakfast, the group got back to mining.
With yesterday's experience, they were a lot faster at it today.
And the surprise find of blue copper ore had everyone working even more enthusiastically.
