Out of the corner of her eye, Luna caught the tense line of Mael Valerius's jaw and chuckled lightly, "How about making this dragon turn back into his true form and be your mount?"
Mael's dark golden eyes narrowed slightly, "If Luna wished to ride a dragon, there'd be no need for anyone else to speak up."
Her gaze landed on their intertwined fingers and found it a complete eyesore. Without leaving a trace, she pulled the two apart.
Then, she wrapped her arms around Luna's waist, holding her close in a possessive embrace.
Kian Sterling's eyes darkened slightly; he reached out to lightly hook Luna's palm, the corners of his lips barely curving, "Luna, wait for me."
With those words, he turned and leapt into the Sacred Pool, seven fox tails flickering in and out of the shimmering violet mist.
The water instantly began to boil, violet halos exploding outward as countless ancient runes floated up from the bottom of the pool, winding around his body.
