Luna wrapped herself up in the Invisibility Cloak and hid in the bushes, the piercing screeches of the Fire Phoenix and the dragon roars getting closer and closer, her heart pounding so hard it almost jumped out of her chest, nerves frayed to the limit.
Good thing she had the Invisibility Cloak—if she got caught, who knew how miserable her fate would be.
"You filthy female, get your ass out here! You can't escape!"
Celestia Fawkes' voice was shrill and furious, nearly ripping through the woods. "Those are Corvus's scales, and I smell his blood. I saw it the second I looked."
"You're not coming out? Fine. Just fine…"
Celestia's face twisted with jealousy, her voice chilling. "Hera Fawkes, burn this whole damn forest to ash for me. How dare you touch my fiancé—"
Before she could finish, she was suddenly stopped by a Dragon Clan Elder.
"Miss Fawkes, watch your words."
The Dragon Clan elite swept a cold gaze over, "The Young Master has never acknowledged this engagement."
