Luna ignored Jago's shocked stare, noticing that the half-finished kiln still needed a lid.
"Why are you spacing out? Put that slab over the kiln, and smear some clay over the gaps. I'll show you how to mix the clay in a bit."
She pointed at the stone slab Rhys Blackwood had polished earlier, lying nearby in the grassy field.
They'd rushed off to The Salt Lake that day, only getting halfway through the work before leaving things scattered here.
"Yes, Master."
Jago only thought his master was amazing—no wonder she'd awakened the Wood Element Ability, she really knew a lot.
He happily bounced off to do the job.
If he didn't understand something, he asked. Before long, he'd finished building the kiln.
But the kiln needed some time to dry out.
Luna didn't go back either. She told Jago to keep digging for clay and just sat on the grass, working her hands.
