Luna Sutton felt unsettled under Rhys Blackwood's stare, instinctively took a step back, and greeted him awkwardly, "Rhys, what a coincidence. How come you're up so early?"
Rhys still didn't answer, his gaze falling on the red marks on her neck, eyes darkening.
She followed his line of sight, suddenly realizing, and hurriedly tugged at her beast skin skirt, her face even more embarrassed. "Uh… mosquito bites."
This beast skin skirt and the underwear she was wearing underneath were sewn this morning, using the animal skins from Yael's Cave.
The set she wore last night had long since been ripped apart by that damn man, reduced to rags.
"Mosquitoes?"
Rhys noticed she wasn't wearing yesterday's clothes, and thought of the scattered torn rags he saw last night. His tone was cold as ice shards: "These mosquitoes really know how to pick their spots."
She forced two laughs: "Mosquitoes always go for the sweetest spots."
