Night fell, stars scattered across the sky, and a bright moon hung high above.
Luna noticed it was getting dark, so she brought in the blood-red wolf pelt she'd left out to dry. After baking under the sun for most of the day, it was pretty much done.
The nights were cold, so the pelt was perfect to keep her belly warm.
During her period, staying warm was especially important.
She was about to carry the wolf pelt back to the cave.
Suddenly, she heard the system's voice in her ear: "Ding, congratulations to the host for completing Hidden Task Two! Quinn Morgan has survived three days. Reward: Three-piece iron tools set—one kitchen knife, one axe, one shovel. Rewards have been sent to the system backpack. Please check."
She stopped in her tracks, her face lighting up with surprise as she registered what the system said.
The hidden task was triggered the night Quinn Morgan ran away—the damn system wanted her to help Quinn Morgan escape successfully.
