Serena Stanton lowered her gaze, looking at the screen displaying the name "Adrian Shaw." Her fingertip hovered over the answer button for a moment, but she eventually put the phone on silent and placed it face down on the table.
"Why not answer?" Beatrice asked leisurely, turning to look at her.
"It's just a routine greeting, it's not too late to reply later," Serena replied calmly, maintaining her poise, "Director Bishop hadn't finished speaking earlier."
