Upon hearing the middle-aged man's words, another tourist approached the police and asked, "What does looking for things have to do with traffic control? We're in a hurry too, can you let us through first?"
As the road here got blocked, cars gradually started coming up behind, getting stuck along the route.
The police were also a bit irritable and said to a colleague nearby, "If it really doesn't work, have the traffic police team come over and set up a checkpoint in the front to let tourists detour for a bit."
Then he explained to the tourists in front, "We need to reconstruct the crime scene now, so we really apologize for the inconvenience but we need to temporarily control the area."
Such a response clearly didn't convince anyone.
