What are they chattering about?
Bai Zhou was gnawing on a meat bun aboard the Anglan ship, having been enticed by the platter of buns. The thin skin and generous filling burst with meat juices upon biting, it's simply delicious. She saw the steward hand a bag of Spiritual Jade to the old man, who hunched over and nodded with a fawning expression. The steward waved him away impatiently, and the old man turned to leave like a weasel.
But once Bai Zhou had finished half of her bun, the old man returned, taking half of the Spiritual Jade from the bag and passing it to the steward, pointing from a distance at Bai Zhou on the Anglan ship. The steward shook his head, slapped away the old man's hand with a cold face, spilling the Spiritual Jade all over. The old man painfully scrambled to pick them up, carefully wiped them clean, and left with a fawning smile.
