At first I thought everything was normal.
Then I noticed the problem.
The problem was small.
Tiny, even.
The sort of thing a reasonable person would ignore.
Unfortunately I am curious.
Curiosity is responsible for many adventures.
It is also responsible for many mistakes.
This would become one of those stories.
The moment I investigated, the mystery grew larger.
Questions appeared.
Then more questions.
Soon I had so many questions that I couldn't even remember the original one.
The situation had evolved beyond understanding.
Yet I continued.
Why?
Because turning back would mean admitting defeat.
And because I genuinely wanted answers.
Hours later I finally discovered the truth.
The truth was surprisingly simple.
Embarrassingly simple.
So simple that I considered pretending I had never started the investigation.
But it was too late.
The journey had already happened.
Lessons had been learned.
Time had been lost.
Snacks had been consumed.
