"No... no, I... I..." Cheryl waved her small hand frantically explaining, afraid that her uncle would hate her.
Wyatt Linton grabbed her hand, his magnetic voice very charming: "I'm here, why panic?"
"Uncle, this... isn't right..." Cheryl tried hard to pull her hand back, getting even more flustered.
They were uncle and niece, and shouldn't have such intimate gestures. She couldn't ruin her uncle's reputation!
His gaze turned cold, Wyatt looked at her, commanding without anger: "Has someone been gossiping in front of you?"
"No, no..."
"Then why are you avoiding me?"
"I'm not... I just..."
"Cheryl, I've raised you for seventeen years, not for you to avoid me."
"I'm sorry, Uncle..." Cheryl cried in frustration.
She was just terrible, causing her uncle anger and trouble, unable to do anything right.
If only she could be like Sparkle, how great would that be?
