Sparkle turned to Sean, "Who said it was bad just now?"
"Still tastes bad."
"Ungrateful little brat," Sparkle snorted, "Go wash the dishes."
"I'm only five!"
"Five isn't that young. Hurry up. Eat without working, and you'll be slaughtered for New Year's dinner."

"If you don't, I'll tell your dad you sneak snacks..."
Sean's face turned red with anger, "You're so mean!"
Sparkle looked smug, "You just realized?"

Unable to win against her, Sean resignedly picked up the empty bowls to wash.
Sparkle got up to follow.
