The Gate of Hell is located in Qinghai Province of the Hua District—a gigantic portal over one hundred zhang high and wide. It stands there, entirely black and gold, and the space on the other side of the portal is pitch-black, making it impossible to see what lies within.
A plain, an expansive plain. Besides the plain, in front of the Gate of the World, there are no buildings at all; the nearest city is a thousand li away.
In the past, this place used to be a grazing area, but ultimately, the people were relocated, and even the troops did not stay here permanently—only Immortals remained.
"The Gate of the World of the Hell Realm originally appeared in a bustling city. It was the Bodhisattva of Precious Light who intervened and relocated it to this region.
The Great Demon Monarch of the Hell Realm and the Bodhisattva of Precious Light, both Immortals whose whereabouts are unknown, seem to have vanished together, no longer appearing on either battlefield."
