A small section of Training Ground 3 was still completely engulfed in thick, greying soot and smoke. Within that haze, a pocket of clear air remained where Itachi's Great Fireball had violently exploded.
Now, Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan widened slightly as he watched a figure emerge from the dense white smoke of a Summoning Jutsu.
She was dressed in a white and red haori, wearing the iconic red fire hat that represented the greatest shinobi village in the world—the exact same village for which Itachi hadn't hesitated to massacre his own clan, his mother, and his father.
The absolute, supreme authority of that village was now standing right in front of him. Only her rosy lips, fair skin, and a few strands of blonde hair were visible beneath the brim of the hat.
Seeing the Hokage herself, Itachi paused without hesitation. While his outward expression remained perfectly stoic, his mind was racing. He had found his perfect excuse to retreat. But as his eyes focused on the Hokage's face, his breath hitched.
The expression she wore was not good clearly indicating that even retreating will be
(...Troublesome.)
Slowly, the Hokage lifted her head. She looked dead serious, and beyond pissed.
The reinforcement signal firework Yugao had shot off wasn't just a standard flare—it was a highly specific, top-tier signal indicating a direct, mortal threat to the village's Jinchuriki.
And this was a Jinchuriki who had already thwarted the likes of Orochimaru and a half-unsealed Tailed Beast. Every Jonin in the village was drilled to recognize that signal, and the protocol was absolute:
The Hokage must be alerted immediately, followed by an instant, overwhelming sortie for reinforcement for every JOnin available in the vicinity.
The moment she got the report, Tsunade didn't even bother taking off her Hokage robes. She ditched her agonizingly boring meetings and bolted, alongside Jiraiya ( who had been busy wrangling/Coercing Konohamaru in the tower).
And then, suddenly, she was summoned directly to the battlefield by Naruto.
(...The kid really has some brains... coming up with a plan like that.)
Despite acknowledging Naruto's quick thinking, Tsunade was absolutely furious.
The reason
The Konoha Crush orchestrated by her former Teammate.
And Orochimaru's blatant disrespect toward her grandfathers, the Hokages, and her family.
The political nonsense with the Sand Village delegates she had just dealt with.
The death of the Third Hokage , Her Sensei .
The Numerous casualties & their Treatment that she personally handled .
And now, finally, a direct attack on their Jinchuriki.
But the most infuriating part wasn't just what happened—it was when it happened. Right after a major invasion
Right inside the village walls.
And most importantly...
(HOW DARE THEY...!! ...Right on the damn day of MY inauguration...!)
feeling the slap on her face , Tsunade didn't waste another second. She ripped the Hokage hat off and tossed it aside, locking eyes with Itachi—or more specifically, staring dead at his forehead protector, which bore the crossed-out symbol of Konoha.
The clearing fell into a tense, suffocating pause as Tsunade and Itachi faced off. Just as Tsunade clenched her fists and Itachi's hand drifted toward his ninja pouch, one of the Naruto clones decided to speak up.
"There is another enemy, Tsunade-nee!"
Tsunade paused, keeping her eyes locked firmly on Itachi. "...Two?"
Naruto took a quick breath, keeping his report brief and tactical.
"An S-rank rogue from the Mist named Kisame. But he's severely injured from my ambush, and my main body is over there holding him off right now. Let's finish things up here fast and—"
Hearing Naruto's words, Tsunade's mind worked quickly. She cut him off before he could finish.
"Then you and the rest of the clones go help your main body. I will handle things here."
Hearing her order, not just the Naruto clones but even Itachi paused. Itachi didn't have any real intention of fighting her anyway; the rogue had already decided to retreat and leave Kisame behind if necessary.
The Naruto Shadow Clone hesitated. "But Tsunade-nee you —"
"GO!!" Tsunade barked. "And tell your main body to leave that S-rank alone, too! Just retreat!"
Her words brought all the clones to a standstill. It wasn't just the authority of the order, but the underlying intent: she was prioritizing his safety above fighting, capturing, or killing the enemy.
Tsunade saw the Shadow Clones hesitating and smiled warmly. She knew they were sticking around because they wanted to help her.
Understanding that, her voice softened significantly.
"Don't worry about me, brat... In case you forgot..."
Tsunade grabbed the collar of her red-and-white haori, pulling it off her shoulders and tossing it directly at the clone.
"...But I AM THE HOKAGE...! "
Hearing that Loud declaration, all the Naruto's eyes widened.
But it wasn't just the clones. Even Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan widened slightly as he looked at the imposing visage of the Hokage—a leader willing to put her own life on the line for a supposed 'tool' of the village.
Without Hesitation .
It mirrored the First Hokage, who hadn't hesitated to confront Madara for the sake of the village and his comrades. Just like the Second Hokage, who stayed behind as a decoy to save his squad. Just like the Fourth Hokage, who sacrificed himself against the Nine-Tails.
Without any Hesitation or Indecisivness
And now, the Fifth Hokage stood firmly on the front lines without a shred of hesitation, knowing perfectly well the Sheer damage an Uchiha with a Mangekyou—someone capable of controlling a Tailed Beast—could dish out.
Seeing Naruto's Shadow Clones scatter to follow her orders, and watching Tsunade—no, the Fifth Hokage of Konoha—standing tall , Strong and Decisive ready to fight an unknown battle.
Itachi felt a bitter, yet somewhat pleased, pang in his chest remembering that Indecisve and weak Hokage who only fed him & Shusui words instead of taking any actions .
Something That he came to understand Far too Late .

Slowly, the Shadow Clones vanished into the trees, leaving only two people standing in the devastated clearing. Seeing this, Itachi ruthlessly erased the unnecessary thoughts from his mind and focused on the mission & the inevitable confrontation
(....Find an opening or use Tsukuyomi... and then retreat.)
But just as Itachi prepared to take the initiative, he was completely derailed by the Fifth Hokage's calm, piercing voice.
"Have you really betrayed the village??"
Hearing those completely unexpected words and grasping their heavy meaning, the always calm and collected Uchiha Itachi finally lost his cool .
"...Huh?"

Naruto's Main Body ( Third P.o.V. ):
As soon as Naruto saw Itachi use the Earth Dome to block the incoming water shots, he immediately swapped places with a Shadow Clone using a basic Body Replacement Jutsu.
Tucking himself securely into the dense green foliage of a massive tree branch, he quietly maneuvered toward Kisame's direction, taking about 60% of the active clones with him.
As for Itachi, Naruto decided to completely ignore him.
Whether it was Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susanoo, or the divine weapons equipped to it—the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror—no matter how Naruto looked at it, fighting Itachi head-on with the expectation of winning was a total lost cause.
[ For an Enemy ... If you fight then make sure the Opponent is dead... And if you have to fight but aren't absolutely sure you can win... then at least make sure to keep Most of your trump cards hidden ]
He remembered Hattori-sensei's strict instructions clearly. Going all-out against Itachi without a guaranteed win condition was stupid. For Naruto, fighting always had a distinct purpose: to subdue (kidnap) or to kill. There was rarely a third option, especially for absolute enemies.
As for Itachi, the guy's loyalties were ambiguous. You don't exactly knock on the front door before kidnapping the Nine-Tails. But ultimately, that wasn't the main reason Naruto was avoiding him.
The most important reason to avoid killing Itachi was simple:
(Danzo is already dead.... If Itachi dies too, then Sasuke's 'Revenge Chapter' has no target. It will never end....Or will head back to Village )
Yes, that was the primary reason. While Naruto was fully prepared to confront anything the world threw at him, having a backup plan—an insurance policy—was absolutely necessary for any sane, smart individual. And Sasuke, the reincarnation of Indra, was that insurance.
Thinking up to this point, Naruto's blue eyes focused intently on the shark-man below.
Afterall , Itachi's complicated circumstances did not extend to Kisame.
Naruto's eyes narrowed as he watched the rogue shinobi moving in a desperate, zigzagging pattern toward where Samehada had landed. The only reason Kisame was moving so erratically was to dodge the relentless harassment from the Shadow Clones.
Having watched the Naruto anime and read hundreds of fanfics in his previous life, Naruto used to be under the illusion that the Akatsuki was some omnipotent, untouchable organization.

But after calming down and thinking it through logically—especially after the death of the Third Hokage—Naruto reached a very different conclusion.
If you take Obito, Black Zetsu, and Nagato out of the equation... the Akatsuki really wasn't that terrifying. Every single member had distinct, exploitable weaknesses. They weren't all Kage-level gods; most were simply elite Jonin who possessed one highly specialized skill, and little else.
Most importantly, the so-called 'Akatsuki' didn't actually care if its members died. Everyone had their own selfish goals.
Nobody was truly loyal to the organization itself.
They were only loyal to their own causes.
The Only reason all of them died was also becasue of the different circimstances , not becasue of loyalty to the Organisation and it's goal .
Even Kisame, who canonically gave up his life for the group, did so out of his own twisted beliefs, not true camaraderie.
Kakuzu literally murdered most of his own partners, and nobody batted an eye.
Even if a member died today, the organization might investigate briefly. But considering the Three-Tails was still running wild with the Fourth Mizukage dead inder Itachi's Amaterasu , Naruto was certain that without the Three-Tails secured, these arrogant, 'god-like' beings wouldn't waste much time crying over a dead shark.
As for them targeting him in retaliation?
Well, it wasn't like being the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki afforded him a peaceful, quiet life anyway.
Plus, Naruto had absolute confidence in his survival, all thanks to the Flying Thunder God Jutsu (Hiraishin).
(With Hiraishin... the initiative is always in my hands.)
That was exactly why Naruto had decided that the most important thing was to keep the fact that he knew space-time ninjutsu a strict secret.
(If the fact that the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki learned Hiraishin gets out, it will definitely alert Zetsu and Obito... They might target Hinata or the others to force my hand.)
That was the second reason Naruto had decided to start aggressively culling the Akatsuki members slowly but surely. His mind had completely cleared the moment the two S-rank rogues stepped in front of him three minutes ago.
Kisame was his prime target .
Since tHe Beginning
After Nagato, Obito, and Zetsu, Kisame was easily the most troublesome opponent for Naruto due to his specific skill set. Between the man's monstrous chakra reserves and a sword that could literally eat a Tailed Beast's chakra and fuse with its wielder.....
KIsame was a massive problem.
The others? Not so much, thanks to Hiraishin.

Kisame had already ripped off his ruined Akatsuki cloak. Despite being severely injured, with blood still leaking from his chest, the man was violently mowing through the clones, taking them out with brutal, heavy strikes.
(.....So this is a true S-rank shinobi fighting at full force, even while heavily injured.)
Seeing his clones getting popped so easily in close quarters, naruto understood the difference as even as injured S rank Rogue .
Naruto thought he will still be inferior in many aspectcs if not for the sudden Ambush ,THinking this , Naruto decided to use the Last signed in skill that he got at the Konoha Stadium , In the finals of the chunin exams

"NIN ASSAULT!"
Hearing the order, the remaining Shadow Clones immediately broke contact, leaping backward to put distance between themselves and Kisame. They seamlessly transitioned to using long-range ninjutsu as their primary method of attack.
"Huff... Damn brat... huff..."
Seeing the clones fall back, Kisame breathed a heavy sigh of relief. His body was screaming in agony from the injuries, and the clones crowding him in close-quarters combat had completely prevented him from weaving hand seals.
Now that they were taking their distance to rely on ninjutsu, Kisame finally had room to breathe.
"Water Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Instantly, eight watery duplicates erupted around Kisame. Surrounded and protected by his clones , Kisame resumed his desperate march toward Samehada.
The Naruto clones matched Kisame's pace using the Body Flicker. Eight of them synchronized their hand seals perfectly, unleashing a B-rank barrage.

Seeing a massive, dense barrage of condensed fireballs rocketing toward them from all directions, Kisame's clones skidded to a halt and rapidly wove their own seals.
[Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave] x 4
Four of Kisame's clones inhaled deeply and spat out a massive, terrifying volume of water, instantly flooding the immediate area. The sheer mass of the water violently swallowed the incoming fire bullets.
Naruto stood perfectly still atop the tree, looking down at the battlefield. The terrain was now completely flooded, which undoubtedly gave Kisame a massive field advantage. But Naruto didn't even bat an eyelid. His plan had already succeeded.
Because of the massive clash between the fire and water jutsus, the entire flooded clearing was now completely enveloped in a blindingly thick mist.
And Kisame was not a sensor.
Using Mindhub, Naruto silently connected with his clones. Moving in perfect, wordless synchronization, the clones spread out and began to tighten the net as they used a jutsu once again .

Kisame, surrounded by his remaining clones, kept moving forward, relying purely on his intuition. But he quickly realized the mist was getting unnaturally dense.
(No.... the mist is getting thicker artificially?!)
Suddenly, two massive, dense Water Dragons erupted from the fog dead ahead. Kisame and his clones' eyes widened as they realized the dragons were violently crackling with lightning.

Seeing the electrified dragons barreling toward him, Kisame clicked his tongue in annoyance. He instantly understood that the brat was trying to force him to change direction and completely disorient him in the thick mist.
(That little bastard is layering the Hidden Mist Jutsu over the steam generated from the clashes.... The chakra in the air is too chaotic. I can't sense a damn thing.)
Despite being well-versed In Hidden Mist Jutsu , Kisame came to conclusion as the JUtsu was used by Opponenet and not by him , so the sensing was a problem , Kisame thought If he should use Hidden Mist too , but soon understood that there was no need as maybe the mist will help him too .
While Kisame analyzed the situation, his clones moved to intercept the dragons.
[Earth Release: Subterranean Voyage] X8
The clones grabbed the main body and violently tunneled underground, swimming through the earth as effortlessly as a shark through water to avoid the electrified dragons.
Seeing Kisame and his clones disappear into the dirt, Naruto simply sent a mental ping to his clones. Moving in unison, several Naruto clones slapped a single hand across their chests and smirked.
"Katsu."
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The earth violently ruptured as a chain of subterranean explosive tags detonated. Naruto kept his Kagura's Mind Eye focused, immediately looking six meters to his left. A massive, blue sphere of water violently bounced out of the ground and collapsed onto the wet dirt.
(...Hm? He used the Water Prison Jutsu on himself as a defensive shield?)
Kisame and his clones quickly got to their feet as the water shield dispersed. Naruto noted that three of the water clones had been destroyed in the blast; only five remained to protect the main body.

Kisame and his clones coughed as they looked around the clearing. Their eyes twitched in irritation. Not only was the area blanketed in a chaotic, chakra-infused mist, but a dense, suffocating cloud of grey soot had just been layered over it.
It was now functionally impossible to see more than two feet ahead, making it impossibly difficult to determine where Samehada had landed.
(.....It's good thing this brat doesn't know I can track Samehada since The sword was constantly feeding off my chakra over the years )
Kisame thought grimly, adjusting his bearing and pushing forward once again.
Up in the canopy, Naruto's eyes narrowed as he watched Kisame deliberately change direction, moving in a flawless, straight line toward Samehada. Naruto had specifically left the massive sword on the ground as bait to keep the shark-man desperate and prevent him from launching a suicide attack.
But seeing Kisame move with such certainty through the blinding mist and soot, Naruto's mind instantly connected the dots.
(....Kisame didn't hesitate for a second. His direction is also right ..... ...You can sense it, can't you?)
As soon as that thought clicked in his head, Naruto sent a quick mental ping to one of his Shadow Clones, directing it toward Samehada. The order wasn't to move the giant sword, though.
(Moving Samehada might tip him off... let's just lay a trap there instead.)
Naruto's blue eyes turned ice-cold as he leaped effortlessly across the tree canopy. He stared down at Kisame, a grim thought crossing his mind.
(....I hope you don't regret reaching Samehada, Hoshigaki Kisame.)
Down below, Kisame and his clones pushed toward the sword, only to be suddenly intercepted by another squad of Naruto clones. The clones had already finished their hand seals, slamming their palms violently into the dirt.
Seeing this Kisame winced—he totally saw what was coming seeing those Hands on earth

[Earth Release: Mud Shots] x 12
Kisame watched as the solid ground in front of him instantly turned into a rushing river of sticky mud. Jagged earth spikes erupted from the terrain, perfectly positioned to impale him if he tried to jump or dodge.
And the cherry on top? A dozen dense mud projectiles fired at him from all sides, completely hidden within the thick mist.
(Dodging or jumping is pure suicide right now. If I use a defensive ninjutsu, I'll just end up getting stuck in that mud later... and if I stop moving for even a second, I'll be completely surrounded and swarmed .)
Making up his mind, Kisame didn't hesitate. He and his water clones retaliated with everything they had left.

Naruto watched from above as Kisame and his clones generated a literal mini-tsunami. The jutsu created a gigantic, dome-like ocean of water that surged violently forward. Kisame rode the crest of the massive wave, letting it carry him furiously straight toward Samehada's location.
(....And this here is exactly why I hate fighting ninjutsu specialists... especially the ones with monstrous chakra reserves.)
Seeing the sheer scale of the attack, Naruto moved fast, deciding to intercept the mini-tsunami personally with his main body.
Since he was already positioned ahead of Kisame from his constant hit-and-run tactics, Naruto stood his ground in front of the 10-to-12-meter-tall wall of water.
He knew full well that stopping something this massive required a level of raw chakra and control that his Shadow Clones simply didn't possess. If they tried to take it head-on, the sheer weight of the water would instantly wash them away and pop every single one of them.
Naruto figured this had to be one of Kisame's desperation trump cards, considering the shark-man was heavily bleeding out and strictly on the clock. That was exactly why he took the frontline, instructing his clones to scatter or hide underground.
(....I don't really have a jutsu meant for this kind of big-ass situation. Even if I throw up a massive earth wall, the sheer weight behind that wave will just crush right through it... or Kisame could simply jump over the damn thing.)
Standing directly in the path of the towering Tsuanmi wave—stretching 12 meters high and 20 meters wide—Naruto rapidly calculated his chances. He absolutely couldn't allow Kisame to get his hands back on that giant sword.
(...Guess I only have one option left.)
Kisame rode the massive wave, flanked by two of his remaining clones. He stared down at the blonde brat standing directly in the path of his massive finishing move. Three of his clones had already emptied their entire chakra reserves just to launch this jutsu, and the others were in rough shape.
Seeing the kid just standing there, waiting for it... Kisame clicked his tongue.

Kisame braced himself for whatever was coming. Even though he had absolute confidence in this jutsu's destructive power, he had lost all his usual arrogance with His caved-in chest and his entire body throbbed in agonizing pain.
And his caution was immediately proven right as Kisame watched the blonde brat shouted at the top of his lungs, slamming both hands violently into the ground.

Suddenly, a massive shadow completely enveloped Kisame & his clones , and all their small, shark-like eyes widened in sheer disbelief.

Author's Notes :
The last week had been a lot Hectic , I don't know If you guys will be interested , But let me still explain just in case .
Well My Dog fell ill and started vomitting , we took her to Vet , and the medication strated with 3-4 injections everyday .
But things started looked grim when she started Vomit Blood in the Vomits , Especially since for whole three Days despite all the medications and injections there was no Vomit stopping or any improvment in her health .
My Dog was vomitting Blood , Not eating food and was even Pissing without moving from her spot , Like not even moving at all just laying down lethergly .
Seeing no Improvemnent , I Changed the vets and headed to another clinic , and finally after 4 tests , The problem was soon spotted as the New Doctor Told me that It was something like Platelets Loss or Something lIke the decrese of it
The doctor said an Average Healthy dog should have 300K or 500k Platelets
but my dog had only around less than 20K
and all this was together with somthing LIke TickFever .
which i had no idea what it is .
Thankfully after another 3 days Of medidcation my dog finally stopped vomitting , she even Came out and can move around though still tiredly , Now she is on Medications .
But then another problem came
With these constant Injections , My dog is already now terrified of me and the family . and now constantly hides under bed without coming out except for toilet .
My heart broke when She actually growled yesterday at Mom when we were trying to take her Vet .
That moment really crushed us .
Was this how sasuke looked at Itachi ??

Thank god now that things are over as the serious stage is gone after full 6 days of Tense times
though My dog is still not actively moving or is playing like before .

I hope no one came across this type of thing , but just in case you do , rememnber , that Blood in Vomit , Black stool , extreme Lethrgy or tiredness , and in serious case , blood from nasal and piss are all this kind of signal .
I still curse that first vet for not Catching the problem , because of that bastard , My dog vomitted Blood 4-5 times constantly for 3 days straight .
and That is still under his medications despite knowing the vomit in blood .
