(Ellion's POV)
I walked up to the weapon's rack in the training yard, "Hm..." I said, "Let's see here...."
As I reached it, I grabbed a practice sword and spread my Observation Haki throughout the area. I counted around 7 men-at-arms and 3 Knights training. Some of them were posted along the walls and at the gate.
I glanced to my right, seeing that one of them was giving me a serious look.
"Guess he doesn't like me..." I muttered
I turned around and leaned on the table, crossing my arms and looking over at the ramparts, spotting a pair of guards patrolling by. I then looked at the tower, seeing that there was more. Spreading my Observation Haki even further, I counted around 15 more men that were on duty.
The training yard was quite guarded with unseen traffic. If there were to be a ruckus, they would be on it.
"Hm...." I said, "Good to know...."
"Ser Ellion." I heard a voice call out
I looked to the side, seeing Prince Rhaegar walking up to me, followed by Ser Barristan.
"My Prince." I said, straightening up, "What could I help you with?"
He reached me, tilting his head, "I've heard some whispers say that you were spotted in the Street of Silk." He said, "Is this true?"
"Mayhaps." I said, "Would it be wrong of me to do so?"
"Hm, I normally would not care if you were indulging in your own desires." He said, his eyes narrowing down slightly, "But there is word that a man went missing shortly after your visit in a brothel."
"Are you....accusing me of something?" I asked, raising an eyebrow
"I need you to be honest." He said, "What did you do?"
I sighed, "You want the truth?" I asked, "Are you sure of that?"
"Yes." He said, "I would greatly appreciate it if someone were upfront with me about something."
"I killed a man." I said, "Went by the name of Pate."
He looked taken aback, "What?"
I noticed Ser Barristan shifting in his feet, but said nothing.
"This man, Pate, was bragging to the ladies of the night about the time he raped some of the servant girls who work there." I started to explain, "And while I was there, he was harassing one of the girls, even tried to rape him. I confronted him and ended up killing him as a result. He attacked me, so it was justified."
"On whose authority did you find the need to shed blood?" He asked me, raising an eyebrow
"The King's.....well, not exactly." I said, crossing my arms, "The fact that I represent the Crown, in a way. Since I represent the Crown, I represent you, Prince Rhaegar. And would you allow a man to walk free after confessing to such horrific crimes?"
He sighed and straightened up, looking around to see if anyone was overhearing, "Might I remind you, Ser Ellion, that you are in the Capital." He said, "You should be mindful of whose blood you stain on your blade. If I were to find out you harm innocents, allowing the power that my father grants you to your head."
"My Prince." I said, shaking my head, "With all due respect, you insult me. I shall never spill the blood of the innocent. I don't show mercy to those who deserve it. Mark my words, I swear it on the Gods themselves, that if I am to kill anyone, they deserve it."
Rhaegar sighed, "Swearing such a thing is-"
"It is the truth." I said seriously, "Once you get to know me better..."
"You'll understand."
*******************
I was walking down the hallways, making my way to my chambers. It had been a few hours after I had spoken to Prince Rhaegar, and I had scoped out nearly all of the Red Keep. Having used my Observation Haki, I had scanned most of the Keep's layout and tried memorizing escape routes and any path that doesn't have much patrols.
I let out a sigh, "It can get kinda boring...." I muttered, "I wonder what His Grace is going to want me to do next."
It was a bit tense, the conversation with Prince Rhaegar. I don't think we would get along too easily, considering the clear difference in ideologies. The Prince doesn't strike me as someone who likes killing that much, and there's nothing wrong with that. To shed blood is something that you have come to terms with; that it is not pretty and can get rather ugly really quickly.
Prince Rhaegar understands that, but it doesn't mean he's not good at fighting or killing. He's a formidable warrior, that much is true.
And while he's not as good as I am, he is someone who will do what is necessary. I am the same, just a bit clearer about it. I know what kind of man I am, that is the truth.
I am a Killer, through and through.
But I rather be fucking than killing, that much is true.
I let out another sigh, "Man..." I said, reaching my door and opening it, "What a drag...."
As I closed the door, I realized that there was already a presence inside the chambers.
Shit, I have to make sure I am not slacking like this again.
I turned to see a woman sitting down on my bed, wearing a dark blue dress. She had burnette hair and dark brown eyes, her body was quite buxom, with the mature curves of a mother. I noticed that her belly had a bit of flab, but it was just the healthy amount. Her breasts were also quite large, the cleavage exposing some of them.
"Oh?" I said, "Lady Selene, I take it?"
She had a smile on her face, "You're the smart boy." She said, licking her lips, "Yes, I am Lady Selene Dondarrion. His Grace told me that you are quite....the adventurous young Knight, eh?"
"Hm....something like that." I said
"Well, that's good to hear." She said with a chuckle, crossing her legs and showing a bit of her thick thighs, "Would you come and.....show me, then?"
"How good you are?"
