"Schrift A: The Antithesis."
"When I activate my ability, I can completely reverse events that have already occurred between two points."
"To put it simply…"
"All the damage I took just now was transferred to you through the power of the Antithesis."
He raised his hand and took aim.
A sacred Heilig Pfeil locked onto Haschwalth's figure.
"Haschwalth, this ends here."
Throwing the man's own words back at him, Ishida Uryū pulled the bowstring hard.
"Whoosh—!"
Before countless eyes, the arrow flew.
A single shot, clean and elegant, struck true.
"Gah—!"
With a pained cry, Haschwalth, once suspected of being a traitor from within, was blasted backward by the spiritual arrow and slammed headfirst into the surrounding ruins.
This battle between supposed "traitors" seemed, at last, to end with Ishida Uryū's victory.
"So cool!"
"That transfer student is insanely strong! That guy Haschwalth just chopped my Zanpakutō in half with one swing earlier!" Ichigo's awestruck shout echoed across the high school rooftop.
Reversing injuries.
A desperate counterattack.
The image of Ishida Uryū drawing his bow burned itself into Ichigo's mind, instantly igniting his inner chūnibyō. His blood practically boiled.
Who would've thought…
Just yesterday, when they passed each other in the faculty office, Ichigo had found Ishida's stiff, aloof expression kind of annoying.
Turns out, his perspective was way too small.
Aren't real big shots always this cool and distant?
Clearly, this transfer student had every right to show off.
Meanwhile, inside the Ishida family estate.
Watching the future version of himself draw his bow with such style, Ishida Uryū trembled uncontrollably with excitement.
"So strong!!!"
"Schrift A… the same power as the Quincy King! I can't believe future me turns out this awesome!!!"
His confidence skyrocketed.
Grandpa…
You're watching from heaven, right?
Your grandson surpasses both you and Dad and becomes the strongest pure-blood Quincy of all!
The pride and fire of youth radiated from him in full force.
But…
Before he could celebrate for long, the battle on screen took another sharp turn.
From within the nearly collapsed ruins came Haschwalth's cold, measured voice.
"I won't deny it…"
"Your Schrift is unexpected. No wonder you believed you could stop me on your own."
First came praise.
Then arrogance and disdain.
"However…"
"Don't think you're the only one who can reverse damage."
As the words fell, Haschwalth raised the Shield of Salvation.
What happened next left viewers stunned.
"Bang—!"
A sound like something violently rebounding rang out.
Without any warning, Ishida Uryū's expression froze.
Shock flashed across his face, followed by sheer terror, then overwhelming pain.
"Gah—!"
After his scream, it was as if time itself rewound.
Ishida Uryū collapsed once again into a pool of blood.
This eerie scene immediately sent shockwaves through the world of the Soul Reapers.
"What the hell?!"
"The damage bounced back again?!"
"I've seen this before! Is the video replaying?"
"What are these two doing, playing ping-pong with injuries?"
"I say forget the rebounds. They should just take each other out already!"
Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, the Wandenreich…
Every faction reacted differently.
Among them, the Gotei 13 mostly watched with a spectator's interest.
They were shocked that Haschwalth could reflect damage yet again, but they were far more amused by two monstrously powerful pure-blood Quincies tearing into each other.
If they killed each other, all the better.
"Tch…"
Within Squad Eleven, Ikkaku Madarame sucked in a sharp breath, while Kenpachi Zaraki frowned.
Everyone knew it.
For these two battle maniacs, fighting usually meant one thing: swing your blade and keep swinging.
In Kenpachi and Ikkaku's worldview, there was no need for fancy tricks. Just cut them down.
And yet…
Haschwalth and Ishida Uryū both wielded Schrift powers that casually overturned damage itself, mysterious rule-breaking abilities that worked mid-conversation.
It made the bald head and the sword freak's heads ache.
Abilities this unfair were basically the ultimate counter to straightforward slashing.
"Look closely. That silver shield in Haschwalth's hand has cracks forming on its surface. I bet that's the source of the damage reflection."
Fixing his gaze on the Shield of Salvation, Ayasegawa used his brain for once and quickly pieced it together.
"And there's more," someone added softly, nibbling on a fingertip. "That blond Quincy's pressure keeps rising, and the darkness behind him looks like it's spreading."
Reflected in Yachiru's wide, watery eyes was the scene behind Haschwalth.
A mysterious curtain of blackness, like a bottomless abyss, looming indistinctly behind him.
Darkness. Oblivion.
It radiated an overwhelming sense of pressure.
Worse still, it carried an evil presence beyond words, something that defied description.
Even with a transparent barrier between them, even with just a single glance, Yachiru felt as though she were about to suffocate.
That feeling…
It was as if everything about her had been laid bare, as though the darkness itself were peering straight into her soul.
At that moment, standing before Haschwalth, it felt like no secret could possibly remain hidden from his gaze.
"What kind of power is that…?"
Kenpachi Zaraki frowned deeply.
A man known for his savagery, often likened to a wild beast.
And yet now, in the face of that mysterious black curtain, he felt something dangerously close to fear.
It was a reaction he had never experienced before.
———
At this moment, Haschwalth's presence surged like a tidal wave.
With every step he took forward, the darkness behind him swelled dramatically, rising higher and higher.
The unnatural blackness rolled like storm-tossed waves.
From within it, negative emotions were born endlessly, sending chills straight through the heart.
And then Haschwalth spoke:
"Do you see it? This is the result of the power His Majesty and I exchange during the night."
"And this… is the power of omniscience and omnipotence!"
In an instant, the entire Soul Society fell into deathly silence.
"Omniscience and omnipotence?!"
"So Yhwach's power has finally been revealed?"
Deep underground in the Fifth Division's secret chamber, Aizen's eyes widened in delight.
This was the first time his expression had changed so noticeably.
As he watched the darkness spread behind Haschwalth's blond hair, devouring half his figure on screen, a brilliant light flared in Aizen's eyes.
"This power…"
His gaze burned with desire.
This was it. This overwhelming force, this terrifying presence, was exactly what he had longed for all these years. The power he had dreamed of while standing at the peak of the Shinigami world, forever blocked by an unseen barrier he could not cross.
"Lord Aizen… the evil aura radiating from Haschwalth fills my heart with loneliness and fear…"
Behind him came the trembling voice of Tōsen Kaname.
Even without sight, the darkness flowing across the screen seemed to pierce straight through the cloth covering his eyes, striking directly at his soul.
Omniscience and omnipotence.
Knowing all, seeing the future, controlling everything.
Such power was simply unbeatable.
In that moment, all three of them were shaken to the core.
"Omniscience and omnipotence… no wonder he made the list and ranked sixth," Ichimaru Gin murmured, staring blankly at the screen flooded with darkness.
Just meeting it with his eyes brought a crushing pressure that nearly froze the blood and spiritual energy within his body.
It was hard to imagine how terrifying it would be when Yhwach himself wielded that power.
At that moment, Aizen's voice urged from the side.
"Gin, what are you standing around for?"
"Hurry and take notes. Record every single frame."
"In the near future, this will become a crucial clue to defeating Yhwach."
"..."
