Chapter 471: Ye Liyou: Brother Master is Second Senior Sister's Boyfriend?
'Good heavens, Ye Liyou is actually this aggressive?'
'As expected of the Gold Medal Female Assassin of the Dark List, Blood Shadow Rose!'
Shen Anyu sighed in his heart.
Any ordinary woman who had stumbled upon the scene from last night, seeing her own Senior Sister intimately entangled with her man, would have surely been crushed. The expected reaction was a storm of tears, a fit of jealous rage, or a plunge into a silent, simmering depression. It was the predictable, human response to such a profound betrayal.
But Ye Liyou was forged from different steel. She was not ordinary. She was a weapon, honed to a razor's edge in the crucibles of the underworld. Her entire philosophy was built on the principle of the blade: she only attacked, never defended. For her, there was no retreat, only relentless forward momentum. Her existence was a singular, sharp vector pointed at her objective.
Even in the chaotic arena of the heart, Ye Liyou's fundamental nature remained unchanged. Faced with a romantic rival, even one as close as her Second Senior Sister, her instinct was not to withdraw and lick her wounds. It was to press the attack. Advance. Seize the initiative. Her love was as sharp and dangerous as her dagger.
Seeing the flicker of contemplation in Shen Anyu's eyes, a sign that she had his undivided attention, Ye Liyou's lips parted once more. Her voice, a silken thread of sound transmitted directly into his mind, carried a seductive, almost conspiratorial warmth that coiled in his ear. "Senior, do you like it? The idea of it... would you like it if Liyou wore a Maidservant Attire and called you Master? If you do, I will wear it for you tonight. Just for you."
The image she painted was a masterpiece of temptation. Ye Liyou, the cold, untouchable beauty, the top-ranked female assassin known as Blood Shadow Rose, a woman who moved through the world like a phantom leaving a trail of death... now offering to dress in a subservient uniform, her voice trembling with manufactured shyness as she addressed him as 'Master.'
What man on earth could possibly resist such a potent, paradoxical fantasy? The sheer whiplash of it—the lethal assassin turned devoted servant—was enough to shatter the will of a saint. Even the most resolute man would find his convictions bending under the weight of such an offer.
And Shen Anyu was no saint. He was a true man, one with a healthy and robust appreciation for exactly these kinds of delightful complexities in a woman. To refuse would be an insult to her daring and a betrayal of his own nature.
His mental reply was instantaneous, leaving no room for doubt. "Of course I like it."
A brilliant light ignited within the cold pools of Ye Liyou's beautiful eyes. The sharp, professional focus in them melted away, replaced by a radiant, almost girlish delight. Her eyebrows arched into perfect crescents, and a captivating smile bloomed across her face, transforming her severe beauty into something utterly bewitching. It was a secret victory, a pact sealed between them, invisible to the rest of the world.
Almost invisible.
While the others were lost in their own conversations, one person's senses were tuned to a higher frequency. Yang Luoluo, ever observant, caught the fleeting, electric exchange. A seed of suspicion took root in her mind. "Fourth Senior Sister," she asked, her tone light but her eyes sharp, "how did you and Brother Master meet?"
In Yang Luoluo's experience, Ye Liyou had two distinct modes. With her martial sisters, she could be professional, even caring in her own detached way. But to the outside world, she was a glacier. Her demeanor was as cold and unforgiving as the polished steel of her blade, an instrument she could use to slice a man's throat without the slightest flicker of emotion.
Yet now, this very same Fourth Senior Sister was sharing a secret smile with Brother Master Shen Anyu. Their gazes met and held with an intensity that spoke of a deep, hidden connection.
Abnormal. This was profoundly abnormal.
An alarm bell started screaming in Yang Luoluo's mind, a powerful intuition that something was deeply wrong—or deeply right, depending on one's perspective. An incredible, almost unbelievable guess began to form, a possibility so wild it made her breath catch.
'No way... it can't be, right?'
Yang Luoluo's question hung in the air, pulling the attention of the others. Liu Ruyan, too, felt a knot of curiosity and a vague sense of unease. She looked from her junior sister to Shen Anyu, her own question echoing Yang Luoluo's. "Fourth Junior Sister, how did you two meet?"
Ruan Lingshan and Ye Linyuan also turned their heads, their interest piqued.
Just as Shen Anyu was about to weave a charming, non-committal response, Ye Liyou acted. With a smooth, decisive motion, she pulled a nearby chair and placed it right beside him, her proximity a bold statement in itself. A confident, radiant smile graced her lips, and her eyes shimmered with an emotion that was impossible to misinterpret as she looked at him.
"Senior is my savior," she declared, her voice clear and steady. "He saved my life. Twice."
The table fell silent.
"The first time was in Sakura Country. He rescued me from the Vulture. If not for him, I would have been forced to perish along with my targets," she explained, her voice softening with the memory.
"The second time, the leader of the Ash Organization launched a surprise attack on me. I was completely cornered. Had Senior not arrived at the critical moment, the consequences would have been unimaginable."
Although Ye Liyou didn't know that Shen Anyu was the one who had miraculously stopped her falling plane from crashing, she understood the chain of events he had set in motion. In her heart, she knew that if he hadn't traveled thousands of miles across the sea to find her, she would never have discovered the fated Opportunity hidden within the island's volcano. She would not have broken through to the Grandmaster realm. And without that power, facing the elite forces of the Ash Organization, outnumbered and outmatched, her fate would have been sealed.
Two heroic rescues. Two instances of life-altering intimacy. And his unhesitating generosity in gifting her priceless secret martial arts manuals. Piece by piece, he had dismantled the icy walls around her heart. Ye Liyou's heart was no longer just captured; it was his, completely and irrevocably.
Now, even standing against her Second Senior Sister, Liu Ruyan, she would not back down. She would contend for him.
At this point, it wasn't just Yang Luoluo. A heavy sense of realization dawned on Liu Ruyan, Ruan Lingshan, and even Ye Linyuan. Something was terribly, fundamentally amiss. The sheer depth of affection radiating from Ye Liyou's gaze as she looked at Shen Anyu was like a physical force. It was raw, powerful, and utterly impossible to ignore.
Liu Ruyan's expression tightened, her mind racing. 'Could it be? Because he saved her twice, Fourth Junior Sister has... fallen for him?'
Her gaze darted to Shen Anyu, and the more she considered it, the more plausible—and terrifying—the scenario became. Shen Anyu was devastatingly handsome, absurdly powerful, and came from a family of immense influence. He was the complete package, an outstanding specimen of a man in every conceivable way. Add two dramatic, life-saving events to that mix, and what woman's heart wouldn't be stirred?
Though she often feigned disdain and pouted at him, Liu Ruyan knew, in the deepest corners of her heart, that she approved of him. She more than approved of him. Otherwise, she never would have allowed him to be so familiar, so compliant with his audacious demands. Any other man who dared treat her in such a way would have been crippled.
Furthermore, Liu Ruyan knew this scoundrel's nature all too well. Shen Anyu would absolutely not refuse Ye Liyou's advances. He was a collector of beauty, a man whose heart had far too many vacancies.
'Damn it all,' Liu Ruyan thought, a wave of panic washing over her. 'I managed to fend off Seventh Sister Yang Luoluo, but now the cold and deadly Fourth Senior Sister Ye Liyou has fallen into his trap! What am I supposed to do?'
Her brows furrowed into a tight knot as she searched for a strategy. Then, as a new thought surfaced, her expression slowly relaxed, a glimmer of confidence returning to her eyes.
Previously, to protect the innocent Yang Luoluo from Shen Anyu's corrupting influence, she had pretended to be his girlfriend. It was a lie meant to create a barrier. But now, it was no longer a pretense. She was truly his woman. His marks were all over her, inside and out, a claim of ownership that was both physical and spiritual. Surely, faced with this obvious truth, Fourth Senior Sister would have no choice but to retreat. Right?
Yang Luoluo's internal radar was now screaming at maximum volume. Lacking Liu Ruyan's penchant for complex schemes, her simple-minded nature led her to the most direct course of action. She voiced the question that was burning a hole in everyone's mind. "Fourth Senior Sister, have you fallen for Brother Master?"
Ye Linyuan's ears practically shot up like antennae. His eyes bulged like brass bells, and he held his breath, his entire being focused on Ye Liyou's impending answer.
'No way, no way, no way! Fourth Senior Sister Ye Liyou can't possibly like that scoundrel Shen Anyu too! Please, God, anyone but him.'
A desperate, wailing prayer echoed through the chambers of his heart.
Liu Ruyan and Ruan Lingshan also stared, their gazes locked on Ye Liyou, waiting for the verdict.
Ye Liyou didn't even flinch. She gave a cool, deliberate nod, her words as precise and deadly as a thrust from her blade. "Yes. I have fallen for Senior."
As she spoke, her cool, beautiful eyes shifted back to Shen Anyu, and the ice within them melted into a pool of liquid tenderness that was shocking in its intensity.
The blood drained from Liu Ruyan's face. Her voice became brittle, laced with an authority she struggled to maintain. "Fourth Junior Sister, do you know that Shen Anyu is my boyfriend?"
Ye Liyou's lips curved into a faint, knowing smile. Her gaze met Liu Ruyan's head-on, a clash of wills that was silent but deafening. "I guessed as much," she said, her tone firm and unyielding. "If he weren't your boyfriend, Second Senior Sister, you would never humble yourself to become a maid for any man."
She paused, letting the statement land with its full weight.
"However, he is only your boyfriend. You are not yet married. Which means," her eyes narrowed with predatory focus, "I still have a chance."
"Second Senior Sister, I'm sorry. But when it comes to Senior, I will not give up."
In an instant, the air between the two women crackled with unseen energy. Their gazes locked, and it was as if arcs of lightning were flashing between them, a declaration of war made without a single weapon being drawn. The temperature in the room seemed to plummet.
Yang Luoluo was completely stunned. Her mouth hung slightly agape, her expression one of pure shock as she watched the incredible drama unfold. She never, in her wildest dreams, imagined that Fourth Senior Sister Ye Liyou already knew about Second Senior Sister's relationship with Brother Master. And not only did she know, she had just openly declared her intention to steal him away.
The audacity of it was breathtaking. Compared to this, her own and Fifth Sister Zhong Lingyin's timid, secretive crushes felt like child's play. They didn't have a fraction of Fourth Senior Sister Ye Liyou's courage.

...
Ye Linyuan was catatonic. Dumbfounded.
He stared at the scene, at the two goddesses of his heart—Second Senior Sister Liu Ruyan and Fourth Senior Sister Ye Liyou—vying for the affection of Shen Anyu. His brain simply refused to process the reality before him. He was utterly and completely bewildered.
What in the world was happening?
Fourth Senior Sister Ye Liyou, his cold, aloof idol, was also in love with that scoundrel Shen Anyu? And she had just publicly declared war on Second Senior Sister, intending to fight her for him?
The next scene, however, struck Ye Linyuan with the force of a physical blow, a bolt of lightning that fried every circuit in his brain.
With a whoosh!
Yang Luoluo pushed her chair back and suddenly stood up...
