Chapter 152 - 152: Emperors

Rolan narrowed his eyes, frowning slightly.

Something felt off. Big Mom was weaker than during their previous battle. Otherwise, the Electromagnetic Blade would never have pierced her so easily.

Could this have anything to do with her revival?

Rolan didn't care. Big Mom's death was nothing to mourn. Such a person deserved no pity.

Ignoring her injuries, Big Mom reached out and clenched her hand in the air.

"Prometheus!"

The flaming sun orb stirred, bowing slightly in acknowledgment. "Hi, Mama!"

"Stolen Fire!"

Prometheus shot straight at Rolan, a scorching, blazing projectile.

"Is this old woman insane? Trading injuries?" Rolan muttered under his breath.

Without hesitation, he activated Electromagnetic Flash and disappeared from his spot.

Bang!

Prometheus smashed into the space he had just occupied. Simultaneously, Big Mom's massive frame collapsed onto the ground, struggling to maintain balance.

Rolan landed a few meters away, panting lightly from exertion but otherwise composed.

"Damn it, you hateful Rolan," Kaido's voice boomed. "Let me show you what a true Emperor is!"

From the ruins, a colossal blue dragon erupted into the sky.

Rolan froze for just a moment, stunned. He hadn't expected Kaido's Mythical Zoan to be this massive—almost larger than the island itself.

The dragon's body coiled through the clouds, flames swirling beneath it. Its blue scales glimmered under the sunlight, radiating immense, almost oppressive power.

Only facing such a being in person could one truly appreciate the aura of the strongest creature among pirates. Any ordinary person wielding such a Zoan would instantly rank among the world's top fighters.

Kaido's mastery of all three Haki, combined with his peak physical strength, confirmed his title: the strongest creature on land, sea, and sky.

Most people, seeing this dragon, would have turned and fled.

The dragon opened its mouth, slowly revealing a crimson interior. A torrent of scorching breath shot toward Rolan, its diameter tens of meters wide.

Rolan moved nearly a hundred meters aside with a thought. Even at this distance, the heat singed his skin as if molten lava was rushing toward him.

The breath of the dragon tore through the terrain like a knife through tofu, cutting straight through a massive stone mountain and leaving a jagged, eye-shaped crater in its wake.

Rolan exhaled subtly. Thankfully, the attack had been directed away from the Sky Nation's main island. If the blast had hit directly, even he couldn't have stopped it without collateral disaster.

Within his Super Heart Net, Rolan sensed Big Mom preparing another attack.

Big Mom lifted Zeus and bellowed, "Thunderbolt!"

The ship erupted, sending countless bolts of blue-purple lightning streaking toward him at near-light speed.

Rolan gritted his teeth, enduring the shock. The lightning slammed into him, exploding violently upon impact and leaving a massive bottomless pit behind.

"Mama Mama! One down!" Big Mom cheered gleefully.

Then she turned to the dragon. "Your turn, Kaido!"

Kaido's dragon form fixed Big Mom with a glare, nostrils steaming. "Huh? Old woman, what did you just say?"

Before the two could clash, Rolan appeared in front of Big Mom in a blur, landing a single punch that sent her flying.

He leapt onto the dragon's head and delivered a kick imbued with Conqueror's Haki, smashing its massive skull into the ground.

Big Mom staggered to her feet, her eyes blazing like torches. "How is this possible? My attack should have killed you!"

Rolan dusted off his clothes casually. "Forgot to mention. Electric shocks don't work on me."

"Nani?" Big Mom's face twisted in disbelief. Electricity accounted for nearly a third of her attack strategies. If it didn't affect him, she had just lost a critical advantage.

Kaido raised his dragon head, shaking it with faint dizziness. He stared at Rolan, eyes wide. He hadn't expected someone so powerful to exist, a presence that defied comprehension.

For a fleeting moment, Rolan felt like his former Captain Rocks, standing before forces far beyond ordinary understanding.

"Hey, Linlin," Rolan called casually, hooking a finger at her, "should we team up to take down this troublemaker first, and then settle our grudges?"

Big Mom paused, considering. A temporary alliance was undoubtedly the logical choice.

"Mama Mama, Kaido boy! Then we do as you say, but only for now!"

"Woooohohoho! Then let's do it now!" Kaido laughed, a booming, infectious sound.

Watching the two Emperors form a tentative alliance, Rolan allowed a rare flicker of excitement. In this world, few could fight two Emperors simultaneously.

He smirked. "Hahaha, you big fat woman, you stinky long worm! Both of you come at me together—what do I, Rolan, have to fear?"

His aura erupted fully, vibrating the surrounding gravel into fine dust.

Big Mom and Kaido flinched slightly, but quickly regained composure.

"Bad Wind!"

Kaido's dragon mouth opened wide, spewing countless blue-white wind blades toward Rolan.

Rolan shook his head. Why do battles like this still require such petty tricks?

He darted like a fish through water, letting the blades graze past him harmlessly.

Big Mom was not idle either. She plunged Napoleon through Prometheus, transforming the flaming sun into a massive blazing sword, and slashed at him.

Rolan's internal alarm blared. He teleported ten meters away. Big Mom's blade sliced a mountain peak in half as it passed, a testament to her devastating power.

At the same time, the wind blades struck his body, propelling him dozens of meters backward.

"Damn, that stings," Rolan muttered, touching the spot where the wind had grazed him.

Courtesy required a reply. He leapt into the air, summoning two long, blue-purple spears in his hands. With a flick, they shot toward Kaido and Big Mom at near-light speed.

Pffft.

Pffft.

One spear slammed into the dragon's front shoulder.

Big Mom dodged partially, but the other spear pierced her left arm.

"Ah!" Kaido transformed back into human form, revealing a scorched wound across his left shoulder.

Neither of them bled. The wounds were cauterized instantly by the electromagnetic energy, searing them as a warning.
