Chapter 197 - 197: The monsters on Earth are too brutal!

"Kill!!"

"Open fire!"

Boom—!

On the outskirts of Washington D.C.,

An armored unit consisting of dozens of tanks and armored vehicles was driving out and annihilating the Alien Alliance forces.

This alien detachment included a portion of the Decepticons, over ten five-to-six-meter-tall Harvestor behemoths, and hundreds of common Harvestor soldiers.

The Decepticons included Side Lane, whose prototype was an Audi R8, who was responsible for intelligence work and was weak and cowardly.

And the famous Terror Squad, whose prototype was a black police SUV, acting as the Decepticons' suicide squad, named Hatchet, Crankcase, and Crowbar.

Additionally, there was Rainmaker, a famous combined Transformer unit whose style was completely different from the Decepticons.

Rainmaker was not a Decepticon; it belonged to Quintasha's command, formed by the fusion of six Hellhounds, an elite unit whose strength was comparable to an elite Transformer.

Such a powerful detachment should theoretically have no trouble against dozens of tanks and armored vehicles.

There was still a significant generation gap between alien technology and Earth technology. Even if these Transformers were low on energy, their great flexibility and hacking abilities meant they could counter and destroy the armored forces without taking damage.

After all, tanks and armored vehicles lacked flexibility.

However, Earth's side did not rely solely on this strength.

Flanking the armored unit were the former Decepticon Jetfire, now an Autobot, and Optimus Prime and the other Autobots.

Those driving these tanks were not just Earthlings; there were also some Skrulls.

Their eyes were wild, and they fought fiercely, seemingly as if these aliens were invading their homeworld.

Furthermore, there was Eternal member Ikaris, who was currently disguised as a passing superhero, concealing his Eternal-marked attire.

And in the sky, was Rodan, a Titan Beast with a wingspan of hundreds of meters.

As well as a Storm Dragon, dozens of meters long, possessing three heads, formed by the fusion of twelve Guardian Knights!

Rodan and the Storm Dragon kept a considerable distance, mainly because Rodan had a slight psychological trauma regarding creatures with three heads.

When he first saw the Storm Dragon, he almost turned and fled.

However, seeing that this Storm Dragon was only about half the size of the legendary Ghidorah, Rodan gained the courage to try and play with the Storm Dragon.

He, Rodan, was once the King of the Skies, after all.

Now that Ghidorah was defeated, it was only right that he should reclaim the position of King of the Skies.

If he could bully a miniature Ghidorah to avenge his past humiliation, that would be even better.

If Luke hadn't given Rodan a warning from afar, Rodan might really have torn the Storm Dragon to shreds.

'I can't beat the three-headed Ghidorah, but I can't beat you, this three-headed fake?'

It was precisely because the Titan Beasts were holding the line

that this mixed Alien Alliance force was terrified and turned to flee.

Don't even mention the Harvestor combat units being fearless in death.

That was when they were bullying ordinary humans who couldn't fight back.

If you made them provoke Ultraman and Kaiju, let them try to see if they were truly fearless in death.

No matter how strong the Reaper Civilization's brainwashing technology was, it was still operating on the brains of humans or intelligent lifeforms.

They still possessed the emotions they were supposed to have.

Some humans with extremely strong obsessions, even after having their brains removed and placed inside a monster, could recover partial human consciousness and fight the aliens while glowing red.

The male protagonist in *Skyline* was exactly like this.

After this period of invasion and subsequent fleeing, the behemoths and the Harvestor people had already realized the ecological hierarchy on Earth.

Luke and Star Convoy were in a league of their own.

Titan Beasts were the second tier!

Every single one possessed the strength of an Alien Alliance leader or even stronger.

Any one of them had the powerful deterrent capability to tear apart a massive allied army head-on.

Fight? How could they fight!

"Run!! Earth is too dangerous, everyone, we must quickly escape Earth!!"

Side Lane transformed into an Audi R8 and frantically stepped on the gas, shouting at his comrades nearby.

"How do we run? They are right on our heels."

Hatchet of the Terror Squad spoke with a slight tremor in his voice. The howl of another dying behemoth came from behind, scaring him into speeding up even more.

Side Lane glanced back, seeing a large number of allies covering his retreat, and couldn't help but sigh in relief.

The Earthlings were right: "I don't have to run faster than the bear, I just have to run faster than my companion to be safe."

"Rainmaker, where is your boss? Didn't you say you had a huge plan? Why are they still chasing us relentlessly?"

Rainmaker ran frantically on all fours with its head down. It didn't have a vehicle mode, looking more like a beast form forcibly cobbled together.

Seeing Side Lane ask, Rainmaker replied while sprinting at full speed, "I don't know, we've lost contact with Lockdown My Lord. All units are currently fighting independently. I don't know what's going on."

"Oh, shit, another boss is dead. Guys, all our bosses are dead!"

Side Lane spat in annoyance. "I said we shouldn't have invaded Earth! Now look, we got in, but we can't get out!"

"Earth is too dangerous. If I can escape, I will never approach the damned Solar System again!"

Side Lane cried bitterly. How was he, an intelligence operative, supposed to play high-speed battlefield evasion with a bunch of brutes?

Crucially, he was the one being chased.

If Rodan and the Storm Dragon weren't under orders to only capture, not kill, these elites, they probably wouldn't have had a chance to escape Washington D.C.

"Stop talking so much. Let's discuss one big plan—escape Earth!"

"Save Cybertron? Go to hell with that!"

Crowbar of the Terror Squad said viciously.

As a professional killer, it was the first time he had felt so aggrieved.

He couldn't win, absolutely couldn't win!

Who understands the despair of exerting full power only to fail to even scratch them!

Wait, aren't you guys made of flesh? How are you hundreds of times tougher than steel!

Is this reasonable?

When an assassin meets a tank, he has truly met his master.

Roar—!

Rodan spun flexibly in the sky like a 360-degree windmill.

Immediately, it spat out balls of high-temperature Fire.

This was Rodan's long-range attack method; having absorbed the energy of countless volcanic magma, Rodan already possessed some volcanic characteristics.

Even its body surface was covered with a layer of lava adhesion to enhance defense.

Perhaps Rodan's attack was useless against Big Fatty and Ghidorah, but it was a great weapon against the Harvestor Beasts.

Fireballs slammed onto the surface one after another, instantly killing over a dozen Harvestor Beasts and dozens of soldiers.

Behind the Decepticons and Rainmaker were only a handful of ordinary Harvestor soldiers.

"Oh, shit! The monsters on Earth are too brutal!"

Just as Side Lane finished speaking, he noticed that all his companions had slammed on the brakes, their faces filled with despair.

BOOM!

Before Side Lane could react, the entire vehicle slammed into a mountain, shattering the front end.
